She wasn't interested, And/but also she wanted to get back at her dad, send her dad a message. Maybe he tried to force her into it. For his own selfish reasons. She did right by not seccumbing, but for her to go this far, take this extreme step, I pity what must have been going on in her mind. She was pushed to the wall and desperate to get out. Daddy your little girl is a big girl now.
Maybe the dad was innocent. Maybe it has nothing to do with him. Maybe she's just not feeling the groom. But she must have told daddy before hand, what did he say when she told him?
