From the train station to my final destination: Nantes. Paris is a beautiful city, I will be visiting very often though.

Everything about our arrival was well planned. I didn't go with any kobo . Though I have few Ms and some $$, I knew I won't be using it. I aren't going to spend my money. At the airport, we were taken to the bank and was given two months stipend. lol. Then a train ticket to your destination.

Got to my destination, got the key to my room, and rested.

The castle of the Dukes of Brittany is a defensive castle and pleasure located in Nantes (Wiki). It was built since 1840.

Founded by the Dukes of Brittany in the xiii th century to build a defensive base in Nantes, the castle became, under Francis II , the main Breton ducal residence. Its military function is also used by the Duke during the Crazy War in which he opposes the King of France . His daughter, the Duchess Anne , was later forced to marry two successive kings of France, Charles VIII and Louis XII . This Castle is now a tourist centre where tourists pay 10 euro to have access to the main arena (which is underground). For us students, we only saw the free sections.

I don't want to believe that its being maintained by people just attending the services there and paying their tithes and offerings...cause I want to believe that the current generation of French people are not that religious as their past ancestors.

Yeah, they are not that religious, however, they are passionate about the preservation of their cultural heritage.

Inside the church, there are candles and you can light anyone up with anything you wish. No one will force or ask you to light any candle up. I think it's a way of generating some revenue. Secondly, the country is rich and government or local council can fund the maintenance of the church.

Welcome to Passage Pommeraye.

Passage Pommeraye is a passage turned a commercial centre, furnished with the city's known skill: Arts.

It's a beautiful passage and also very busy.

The commercial arena has 3 floors filled with different shops of diverse products.

Every minute, troops of people come into the passage either to make a purchase or to take pictures.

Any building with no designs is surely not in Nantes.

I learned that Nantes city recently won the award of Europe's most creative city.

If you are here, you must be tempted to take pictures. So don't blame me.

A place called La place Graslin

Place Royale has it's own show of arts.

A water fountain with some monuments (no verse if I no get the name) that contains the four rivers of Nantes.

Nantes does with statues the same thing China does with technology.

You hardly go to any place without seeing some statues.

As we rounded up our trip today, we went to La place Graslin. In it, there's a restaurant called La Cigale. Dans la cigale est beau. ( You must also learn french too)

On top of a building in La place Graslin is about 8 statues.
