Though driven by someone through a mechanical propeller, every part of the elephant moves

One have to pay 8.90 euros to climb take a ride on this elephant. With my student card, I paid 6.70 euros.

Let's keep working

Escorted by four security officers, two at the advance section and the rest at the back, the mechanical elephant releases water through it's nostrils to make way for itself.

I don't know the height but looks more like a storey building. Each ticket lasts you one hour into any of the centres

we closed our borders just few weeks ago, some African countries have started begging us to reopen it! And that, they're starving to death!
Yeah, I've seen many threads on it on the front page but that doesn't concern me in any way because I just had my fourth meal of the day. Clearly I'm still good!

I'm faaaaar from being affected by what happens in West Africa.

Your fourth meal? South Africans cry about unemployment! I mean, acute unemployment! I believe, you're still being fed by mum and dad!
Fortunately for me, I'm not one of them. I'm capable of taking care of myself.

I'd appreciate it if you DON'T include my parents in this! Thank you very much.

Soilsista, remove jealousy from this! Nigeria is the US of Africa! We have the largest economy in Africa! Leave population aside! Check out other fundamentals! Remove Nigeria from Africa, and you'll see Africa dying a natural death! :-XSoilsista, remove jealousy from this! Nigeria is the US of Africa! We have the largest economy in Africa! I believe what he meant in that context was about the popularity of the Nigeria music dance and culture etc. Same way US artistes are known everywhere.
if that's the case I can also claim that SA is the US of Africa in most indices

What have you gained with this? What would you gain?

Just rest and let people enjoy the thread or create one to show people how South Africa is the "US of Africa"

Awesome experience and pics. I was there last Spring, Noisy Le Grand to be precise. Beautiful! Had to deal with the French speakers everywhere... angry They don't have a free beverage refill at their fast-food restaurants. Very absurd indeed compared to the U.S where beverages are unlimited refills.

The hotel even had a check-list to check names for breakfast to avoid outsiders eating free breakfast. This is again not common in the U.S where there's little restrictions on these sort of things. Food is cheap and almost free in the U.S compared to Europe.

Didn't enjoy much of the Eiffel tower view as there were just too many pple. Had to settle for an outside view. undecided Fun nevertheless... cool

After the entire incident, we were lodged in Rockview hotel same night. But due to the shock and trauma, no one enjoyed the superb services the hotel offered us.

We were rescheduled to fly the next day through Addis Ababa Ethiopia to Paris. A very long journey.

Abuja - Addis Ababa = 4hrs, flying 37k ft with the speed of 823km/hr

Addis Ababa - Paris = 6:30mins, flying @ 41kft with the speed of 857km/hr.

See pictures of Rockview hotel (Royal palace) where we lodged. All expenses paid by Airfrance including our transport to and fro the hotel and feeding. (We have the option of ordering for anything we desire, everything was paid by airfrance).

Things are quite expensive though. Everything is costly except wines grin grin

So I decided to buy Heineken to clear my eyes and welcome my body and spirit including my village people.

I was angry with my village people though. I got a travel clearance certificate (TCC) from them before I traveled, yet they wanted to fvck up but God pass them.

Again, apples are cheap here in Nantes (Pronounced "Nonts" and not N-an-tis grin grin grin)
How did you just know I was pronouncing N-an-tis
