Since UBEC was established how is its budget reflecting? Just substandard schools that politicians have been feeding off from for ages

But that's not even the main point, UBEC has been there since and until these high budget is replicated with results we can't say there is any commitment anywhere.

That being said, Basic Education is primary schools, I stand being corrected, except you're saying dey merged subeb and UBEC I don't see anything in the huge budget.

Primary education has always been what it is

Pls note the UBEC is National while SUBEB is states. The funds allocated to UBEC is to enable it provide funding for all States Universal Education Boards (SUBEBs), the States only match the grants with their counterpart funding to enable them access the grants.

83b for agriculture.

Very impressive.

Nigeria on the road to food self sufficiency.

Whether lazy idiots like it or not is immaterial.

Ewu container economy.

All the figures above don't add up to 1 trillion. The budget is 10trillion. Hmmm.

You are not a thick headed slowpoke yet you couldn't see that Universal Basic Education Commission(UBEC) and Ministry of Education got 112B and 48B respectively. Giving the education sector the highest allocation of 160B. UBEC funds SUBEBs (primary education) in all States Nationwide.

Have you asked why they seperated the two?

Oya, tell me why?

Was the issue about why they separated them?

Is UBEC not part of the Education ministry? That's the simple question.

Una matter eh!

48b only for education? It's obviously the Fulani herdmen will take a bulk of the agriculture budget.

Where are the impact of billions of naira they have been receiving in the past?

[s]You are farting with your keyboard, tomorrow you will say you are educated!!!!! Talking like a stark illiterate!!!! They produce next to nothing? Shame no catch you as you type that? See as you expose your ignorance to the world and disgraced your economics teachers and your family! Do you actually know what GDP is? How can a country of 60million people that produce nothing have roughly the same GDP as a country of 200 million people that have Oil and you say they produce nothing? Get some sense!

Anyway I can’t blame you, the low budget for education over the years was always guaranteed to produce ignorant people, garbage in garbage out!!!. Next time you go to Shoprite, pay attention to the number of products that are MADE in South Africa. Their manufacturing sector alone is bigger than our entire OIL industry. They have gold, diamonds and other DEVELOPED mining industries.. They have the biggest banks in Africa, standard bank alone is over 15 times the size of Nigeria’s biggest bank, Every time you pay for DSTV or MTN or pay to vote for B.B. eviction you are sending money to South Africa. They have no oil but they have sense, something you should try to get. They are the ONLY African country in the G20, sit down there and be saying they don’t have oil while you sink further and further into poverty because all you think of is Oil.[/s]

Check the meaning of UBEC first. Also remember that not all soil water are available to plants..... different types of water exist. Out of the four, only capillary water is available to plants!

NORTH EAST DVELOPMENT COMMISSION is Nigerian's drain pipe and problem child through which Nigeria money is being drained. N38billion is too much for a region that add nothing to the economy of Nigeria
I am not talking about contributions to the economy, though North East is a strong source of food we eat down south. I am talking about the number of years NDDC, Niger Delta Ministry and Amnesty program have all existed with trillions spent and nothing spectacular to show. Mind you, these trillions were managed by Niger Deltans themselves.

Govt can only spend what it has, people dont realise that all the money we get from Oil is nothing, it only sounds big on paper, our population is too much amd we dont pay taxes.

our entire revenue from oil is about $30B a year we have a population of 200m that's roughly $150 (N54,000) per person a year for roads, power, education, health, etc

Think about it.

Don't forget that it is not FG alone that receives and uses oil revenue. Oil revenue along with VAT and other revenue like custom duties etc are shared monthly between the FG, States and LGAs based on the established revenue sharing formula.

Education just 48 Billion can't imagine, despite the so many challenges facing our educational sector, the structure of our university system is nothing to talk about, the presdent only gave 48 billion.
Nigeria is dear need of a true and passionate leader.

Water resources is not all about water supplies for for domestic uses. That ministry also touches transport ministry at some aspect.
Large part of that of water resources will spend on some section of Agriculture. Have you gotten that fisheries, river basin, irrigation etc which are aspects of Agriculture are captured under water resources ministry?
As for Health, there is duge provision for basic health care service too besides the main provision for the health ministry entirely.
But mischievousness will not allow you people to see these linkages
