Agugbadin:Another wrong generalization. Nigerians in Canada are some of the most successful immigrants. There are a few bad eggs that have soiled our reputation with fraud, drugs and the illegal border crossings using US visa to claim asylum. 1 Like 1 Share

dasparrow: Listen mate, you aren’t patriotic nor an ardent supporter of the black race more than I am and what I said here I can’t say around my Caucasian mates. I’m an unapologetic black fella who defend my race especially around people from other races, however this platform is a black dominated one hence I feel free to say stuff as it is here. It’s like scolding a relative at home while supporting them in public for same offence. Trump call it “locker room talk”. That being said, an average Black person crave for too much gratification and hardly ever indulge in an act of benevolence without their cameras. They tend to derive more satisfaction from “thanks” and “God bless you” they receive not only from the recipient of their kindness but from the general public more than their charitable gesture itself. Take away the cameras most of those who parade themselves within the black community as philanthropist on social media won’t bother. If you live in the West you’ll be conversant with the countless number of charity organisation where Caucasians make monthly donation by setting up direct debit without parading it. I work in the health sector in the UK (NHS) where numerous Caucasian usually come to donate blood at no charge just to help those in need of transfusion, the black community donors are very minimal. Also, most Brits and I heard even Americans signed up that should they die the hospital can harvest their useful organs to help the sick and needy yet never talk about it. Instances are abound. I’ve been living in Europe for many years and well-traveled and I can tell you that blacks tend to be more loud about any act of kindness they do than Caucasians. 10 Likes |

It was an amazing experience for me and the kids at Pearson airport Toronto in December, when I missed my flight twice to my final destination and needed help with rebooking and getting back my back pack I ignorantly left on a queue. Was trying to get a shorter way of rebooking and left all my documents in the backpack, plus the kid's backpack too. This pretty police officer took I and the kids to Lost but found room, recovered my backpack and led us to the phone booth to call the care line for rebooking. Canadians are compassionate and loving. Nigerians outside Nigeria should be there for Nigerians. If each one would care for each one, then the world will be a safer and happier place. Happy New year all, may all our heart desires become testimonies in Jesus Name. hisgrace090: 5 Likes |
