Does this change the fact he forfeited $460k in Chicago?

There’s no evidence that Tinubu was ever indicted for any crime. He eventually settled with the district court, turning over $460,000 of the seized $1.4 million, with the remainder released back to him. The Beast tried repeatedly to contact Marsha McClellan, the U.S. attorney who prosecuted the case, but was unsuccessful

Does this change the fact that there was no conviction and no evidence of any crime committed and on top of that, the US government gave him back his money? This sounds like conviction or criminal activity to you?

Obviously, whatever funds they seized had nothing to do with him so they handed over his money and what belonged to him because there was no case against him, no conviction

American government don't give back 1 kobo to convicted drug criminals, they take everything and send you to jail on top.

Did you read this part clown
"Bank employees told Moss that Akande had personally introduced them to Tinubu in December 1989 when who also opened a joint checking account with his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, who already kept a joint account with Akande’s wife at First Heritage. Five days after the NOW account was opened, $80,000 was wired into it from a bank in Houston maintained by one of Akande’s relatives. Tinubu would later use the NOW account to buy a $10,000 Certificate of Deposit for an $8,000 car loan, listing Akande as his cousin on the application.

At the time, Tinubu’s take home as a Mobil Oil Nigeria executive was a mere $2,400 a month and he claimed not to have any other revenue streams. Yet he still managed to deposit $661,000 into his individual money market account in 1990 and then another $1,216,500 a year later. He also opened more accounts with Citibank in its worldwide personal banking unit, transferring over half a million dollars from his First Heritage money market account into one of them in early 1991."

In a country claiming to fight crimes and corruption, this information is enough to send shivers down the spine of cocaine dealers, fear for their future should they continue with such evil vices

Not in this country, certainly, not in this administration!!!

Under this administration, thieves are boldly elevated. As long as you belong to APC- and you have not offended Buhari YET, you are safe!!!

Ask Ganduje, Femi Gbajabiamila, Omo-Agege, Babachir Lawal, Orji Uzor Kalu, Okorocha, minister Sadiya Umar Faruq and the rest of them, they will all chorus the same response, Ò deshi, nothing mega grin grin grin

The NGO activists have suddenly lost their voice under this regime!!!

Abba Kyari will not even go under cover grin grin grin cheesy

It's difficult to find someone to celebrate genuinely in Nigeria. We know!!!

So we must always celebrate those who refused to join the crowd but stood out despite the pressure, intimidation, insults, embarrassment e.t.c

Dora Akunyili

Dr. Stella Ameyo Adadevoh

Nigerians are proud of you. Continue to rest in peace!!!

You are right. Nigerians have no shame or I should say some. Once an Afonja, always an Afonja or should I say Bootlicker. ko ni ori ti itiju.

Clown! Why did the court document say he forefeited 460K out of the amount in the account due to narcotics proceeds. He was earning $2400 a month and depositing millions of dollars into his account, despite telling them he had no other means of income. Look at the court record

A man is earning $2400 a month and depositing million of dollars into his account after telling authorities he has no other means of income. They caught up to him and seized the $460k narcotics proceeds.

See, you can not read and comprehend.

I answered your question already, yes money was forfeited, now please tell us why the same US government that took some of the money gave him back the rest of the money. Why.

You are not man enough to answer a simple question after blabbing your mouth all over the place, but you don't know anything, you can not even read and comprehend what you are peddling.

Just answer my question or go away..

The druglord was earning $2400 a month when he was working for Mobil-which amounts to $28800 a year in 1993. And he had millions of dollars going through his account. America is not a Banana Republic like Nigeria- you must explain to them how you got the money.
That is why he foreited $460k of his narcotics proceeds, when he couldn't account for it.
