look and weep for Africa and why Nigeria need, need to look inwards. The little Kenyan girl and her reaction to her mother being manhandled by those South African brutes is heart-wrenching

Incidentaly, someone on nairaland stated that when South Africans were attacking those Nigerian businesses some Ghanaians attacked or wanted to attack Nigerians in Ghana. Now, I have no idea if this is true but if so my take on it was that those Ghanaians probably thought that the beginning of their wishes that a sudden attack on Nigerians would happen worldwide had started and they wanted to be part of it. These are the people Nigerians love so much.

We know but why are you and your ministers still begging and crying for a reopening of our shut border, what is your trade minister and his entourage still doing in Abuja? Leave us with our decision, Nigerians know Ghana is the best and richest country in the world and that's why we are begging you to leave us to our poverty and underdevelopment, please please please.

Why are you losing sleep and taking paracetamol for our headache? Just say you are directly affected and pained about the closure and we'd tell you sorry.
Why not invade our border and reopen it.

I hope you've told your police officers to stop reopening those shops and tell your trade minister to stop condemning it.

Don't blame him, he could be a smuggler affected or related to one.
Maybe someone he knows would soon be laid off by those companies that rely on the Nigerian market, just pity him for now.
If he wasn't affected, he won't be bothered at all

You should know he's only trying to make up an excuse for their sleeping president, he said president sleeps at meetings because he doesn't find it important, question is why did he spend tax payers money to attend an unimportant meeting in far away Russia?
He should've remained in Ghana and slept his life away

Far away Russia o with tax payers money on a chartered flight o on that. Honestly, Ghana is a poor country.

Yes it was part of the agreement.

Nigeria supplies and we at the end of every financial month.
when nigeria fails to supply as agreed upon, Ghana deducts a default amount from what nigeria is supposed to receive.

Anyway, Ghana does not owe Nigeria and your gas is not of importance to us anymore because you cant supply what we agreed to buy.

If push comes to shove, the growth of Nigeria local industry is a bigger priority than how well Nigerian owned businesses fare beyond these shores... It's quite simple sir.
can you boast that government policy has been fair to local businesses ? No electricity to help business instead its the final consumer who pays the high cost of goods, no good road to transport goods from point to point, do we have insurance cover for our goods. What of health Care? If you have been to these west Africa countries you will know that Nigeria is the worst place to do businesses. our production cost is highest because of no constant power ,different taxes from local, state and federal government,

You are right... But, what do you want over 30 million business people to do (Most into small and medium scale business)??!... The least we can do in the face of these daunting challenges is patronize them fully, if not solely. Not everyone has the wherewithal to relocate... in other words, those doing business outside here are terribly small compared to those slugging it out here.

Nigeria, good or bad, is all over 100 million people have...

is closing the border the solution to our problems? Do you know that if electricity and good roads are provided and loans for business minds it will generate employments more than what rice can provide for us.
