Your story is true to an extent. you don't judge a whole tribe by the actions of a few greedy families. I know a friend's uncle who married from there a while back but didn't pay a dime.

The imo state daughters do justify their bride price one hundred percent. Even if na 2mil price tag, they are still worth it. They are sooo humble, comely and can cook very wella.

Very funny but serious matter, i dont know much about mbaise bride price but i will find out. However the bride price in nigeria is becoming something else. My bonny chick gave me a down play of the overall cost to take a bonny woman home and i was just nodding my head wit no comments. Thanks to subsidy removal some people will sell their houses and cars to do traditional wedding. We can lick our wounds later.
