Lets say you've a first degree, a PGD in different discipline and you're currently running a professional course which is related to your first degree and job; saving an average of 1.5m Naira a year from your work. Then, boom! An all full tuition scholarship (undergraduate) came with a monthly allowance of approximately 30k Naira. Location? China! Course? Same discipline with your first degree.

Will you resign from your current position for the scholarship?

Reasons.

Considering the location China, I will not quit my job. I have Chinese friends who don't even want to stay in their country because the expectation from your employer is usually high compared to the salary.

Considering the location of China, I will also not quit my job. I agree that there are people in China who don't even want to stay in their country because the expectation from the employer is usually high compared to the salary. But I will try in Dayton. It is a perfect dairy to travel. I've had out for about a month, and it has sinned me a lot. At first, however, I had doubts about whether to go or not. I came across some informational reviews about different localities. They convinced me that I should make this visit. Anyway, if China is not good enough, you can try Dayton.

OP since yesterday sef if there is opportunity and the resources is there, why do you think a bank senior officer earning averagely well will leave the country to Canada, US / UK and start with menial jobs pending when s/he will get a certificate that can help him get a more decent job.
It has to do with peace of mind, not everything is about physical cash.

The undergraduate degree is same as your first degree, it doesn’t make sense to abandon your job and travel, especially since you save N125,000 monthly from your current job.

So think about this:

Current savings: N125,000 monthly
Future savings with undergraduate scholarship: N30,000 monthly

Unless you’re about getting fired from your current job, you shouldn’t leave it to go get the same degree you already have.

Well left to me, ion feel good having to study or live in China for any reason possible. Chinese migrate to other countries alot and it really speaks volume

But OP if you're good in Tech or very intelligent then I think China would be fair to you than those looking for greener pasture

No Knowledge is lost....howbeit it depends on the office you hold or the kind of job you do....
For Online Earners(RemoteJob workers) like myself we have the luxury of travelling to anywhere @anytime because our operations and activities are VIRTUAL BASED!!!!
OP consider travelling because Nigeria is not been positioned to help her citizens thanks to the past & present Clueless Leaders that have been in position of power ! SMH @OP if he decides not to travel for studies!
I'm another news reach me via the facebook ID on my profile to learn how to earn @Least $10 daily from the comfort of your home or workstation!
If you have access yo internet + phone or PC and you ain't earning even as little as $5 daily then it's your own undoing.
Proactivity Leads To Productivity!!!

Seeing this topic at first glance, it was a no-brainer.

However after reading the whole gist, I will not quit my job.

That sacrifice is better done for countries like USA, Canada, Germany, Sweden or Australia

China does not provide post-schooling employment visas. Unless the scholarship is for a course that actually gives you skills you can privately monetize, you should not consider it.
