Oh yes. Now some lawyers moving the appeal for Zamfara case and Imo may start considering withdrawing their appeal especially that of Zamfara where there is no clear ground for review of the case since no new fact against the judgement has emerged since then.
it is an act of intimidation and unnecessary arrogancy on the part of supreme court, their judgement is too childish and devoid of logic. How they could separate deputy governor from governor on their judgement on Kogi of Audu/Faleke ticket but they could not separate deputy governor from governor on Bayelsa's Lyon/Bionarakuma ticket is still a wonder of Mary odili's influenced judgement

I know this was coming. Those lawyers are heartless .

They know SC cannot reverse her own judgement except there is a constitutional amendment but they went ahead to file for review.

Thanks to the supreme court for not allowing anyone to arm twist their judgment. The Supreme Court Judges did a very good job by delivering an excellent judgment. A case of forgery was established and a lawyer is still asking for a review of the judgement. Let the SANs go and pay the fine.

They have to pay such. The supreme court don't want to leave a negative precedence in forgery of certificates

The supreme Court Justice was with tears while delivering the fines pronounced on the senior advocate because she saw how the judiciary had been damaged by politicians and lawyers who ought to know the law better but had sold themselves because of money.

Did you read Olanipekun's submission to the Supreme Court?

While KANU Agabi in the case of IMO was pleading ... Olanipekun was sounding somewhat
arrogant, more like schooling the Supreme Court judges

Those two SANs should be investigated by NBA Ethics committee and be stripped of their SANs. They are a big disgrace to the Learned profession. If they were ICAN members, their practice certificates would have been withdrawn.

The Electoral act was amended after the Kogi Saga and the word 'Joint Mandate' is now in operation.

Let us get enlightened.

Asking Supreme Court to appeal their own decision
Which would have in order means
they are incompetent

Kudos to the SC from rescuing theirselves from the clutches of politician

The Judicial Reasoning here is SOUND.

THE FLOODGATES OF INDEFINITE LITIGATION EVEN AT THE SPEX COURT MUST NOT BE LEFT OPEN AT ALL.

Every loser in a court case would wish to have the decision he finds unfavorable upturned even on the most trivial of grounds. But it will be pointless if there should be no end to a litigation.

WISDOM IS SWEET! wink

He will vomit it from anywhere.

He brought it for review last year July, the panel headed by Rhodes-vivour dismissed for incomplete filing and the fact that the SC cannot sit on its own judgement except for clear clerical errors.

The man still brought it again, what is he looking for?

He will pay a heavy fine.

It's a crime for Babalola and Olanipekun knowing fully that the Deputy governorship candidate of APC is a criminal, nevertheless, they disturbed the peace of SC & the whole country by asking for review
