What are your views?

Does it mean you will not ALLOW your wife to drink alc (drinking and getting drunk are two different things, remember that)

In the west is normal,in Nigeria is abnormal,so education is the key ,drinking is not a bad thing ,getting drunk always is what is not okay. But in Nigeria, drinking alchol makes you iresponsible in some quaters. But that is bullshit.

@ Poster, how much alcohol are you talking about?

Social drinking is acceptable.  Getting drunk, whether it is male or female is not attractive at all.   grin
Re: Can You Accept The Fact That your Wife Or Fiance Drinks Alchohol by ssemire(f): 6:50pm On Dec 21, 2010
i don't drink and i will not like to settle for a guy that drinks 'cos social drinking can one day change to something else when he can't handle the issues of life in a mature way.

I am not sure if that is a very good idea.
it is a good thing to hang out with your partner to see how he acts in social gatherings. Check if he knows his alcohol limit and how he acts when he is a little tipsy.

Re: Can You Accept The Fact That your Wife Or Fiance Drinks Alchohol by ebonyvibe(f): 9:55pm On Dec 21, 2010
What do you have against alcohol and why do you think you must impose your opinion on others you looking away is suggesting she is doing something wrong

My gf drinks and smokes whenever she's with her friends which she does not hide from me cause of the honesty principle we have between us.I don't smoke and i drink only when i am thirsty and there is not a drop of water but alcolhol.Wierd thing is that i don't get drunk so there is no reason for me to take anything.

Re: Can You Accept The Fact That your Wife Or Fiance Drinks Alchohol by ebonyvibe(f): 11:40pm On Dec 21, 2010
If it is your wife it is not just your house it is you guys home and if she wants a drink I don't think there is a law against that getting drunk is bad it seems you have control issues
