If someone explains Nigeria to you and you understand, he did not explain it well.

Is Nigeria the only oil exporting country? Why other major oil producer don't experience this same shit with the same frequency?

I don't understand this report shaaa.

1. Explosion not caused by NNPC pipelines - Good

2. NNPC shutdown flow to the pipelines - Good

3. First responders on ground - Good

4. the implosion is not connected to pipeline but might have occurred in a factory located in the Abule Ado area - So where are the first responders reporting from?

Let us always read news with your brain not anus , NEMA said they are suspecting it from a factory but some cowards have started turning it into religious and tribal bigotry and even some still asking what cause while you have news with you and android phone but still asking question upon question here and just for you to open the link and read ..very shameful

Living in this country everyday is dangerous. its amazing how some people even live up to 70 years here.

Nope, it's living in Lagos that is dangerous.
It's high time people start relocating from that place cos it'll only get worse (not a prayer). Abuja is the future.

It wasn't vandalism that caused the pipeline explosion, then what caused it?

You mentioned a factory in the area. Was it the factory that exploded, or it just caused the pipeline explosion?

Confusing report

After telling us what the explosion wasn't they couldn't manage to tell us what is was.

All because they want to live Lagos.
Someone here on nairaland say Lagos will self destruct someday. Sadly, it's just the reality. Lagos is too congested. The smallest state by land mass yet, the most populated. Abuja with enough land is so scanty.

I was in Ikeja police barracks then.
Pandemonium everywhere.
We moved from Lagos the following Saturday and since then, I've never stepped my feet there.
Lost contact with so many good people cos phones weren't common then.

That is why there is a thing called Law and Order to prevent people in a society from doing any wrong thing they want.

But since Nigeria lacks an iota of Order, the citizens can even take a shhhit right in the middle of the expressway and the police will just drive by

Seriously Nigerians, when will you start taking pride in electing good leaders?

Election is not a joke or I’ll show Igbo, or I’ll show Yoruba, bla bla bla, it’s a serious something. The person you choose gets a whole 4 years of your life.

Can’t you take it seriously?

Gosh

Maybe explosives...
Re: NEMA: Lagos explosion not caused by oil pipeline vandalism by AfroKnight: 12:51pm On Mar 15, 2020
This is consistent with the reports on twitter. People in different areas in Lagos mainland heard the explosion and felt the shockwaves. A oil pipeline explosion is not that powerful (from past experiences) to reach Mushin, oshodi and ipaja all the way from festac.

It is definitely something else. The combustion rate was way too rapid.
