No doctors on ground in General hospitals since this morning.
Good thing, the Western countries have shut their doors to outsiders. No one is going anywhere to seek for treatment. All politicians would have to remain here and enjoy the poor health care system as the masses.
Its good our politicians we have no country to run to .... w gonna face this mess together

But you never question your government why they are owing doctors that save lives. Are the thieves at aso rock being owed?
We all know the government are thiefs , my point is it shouldn't be now..if they had gone on strike earlier it would have been better but God forbids if we have to fight this virus where do we go
Speaking out of experience I lost my mum because of this, she had ♋ cancer and has been going for her chemo at LUTH, she was due for another session of chemo that was when the doctors decided to go on a strike and we lost her

That is how wicked this government is, they are not supposed to be owing them salary.

They are also humans, they have need of money, I have seen them weep and complain.

#Buhari pay doctors, stop owing them

All the idiots cursing doctors on this thread are probably frustrated that they didn't study medicine. Fools.

SO IT IS RIGHT FOR A WORKER TO BE OWED HIS WAGES? IDIOTS WITH NO SHAME LOOKING FOR AVENUES TO VENT THEIR FRUSTRATIONS. TURN YOUR STUPID FRUSTRATION TO THE MESSED UP GOVERNMENT.

Let it spread, las las, na doctors go first die.
Once my country's government notice that the virus has spread, the two months salary will be paid and doctors will be ordered to rush back to hospital and resume treatment irrespective of low protective measures in place and voom, we start hearing of doctors death.

Hmmmm , human beings are scarce these days....

If this is a joke, then pls put discretion to it as some families have Doctors pls....

Or are you related to those people that value cows more than human lives?

And mind you all that when the doctors and health workers are not well taken care of it will reflect somehow in the patients care. So if the masses like let them keep being stupid and not tell governments to do the needful. Nonsense!

Don't they have responsibilities? So they should kill themselves because they are doctors abi? I support their strike ,let the government do what's expected of them

When I say the country is doomed some see it as act of unpatriotic.

A country where doctors are owed monthly salaries while first school leaving certificate holder who is a councilor is amassing wealth.

A country where doctors chose to go on strike while their colleagues round the world are alert to render services.

God only you knows why this country was conceived in the first place and only you can remedy the error.

Please forgive us and help us.
Bro it's becoming terrible in Nigeria...how can you owe doctors for over two months amidst these crisis,no wonder many of them are leaving the country for good....

My brother, forget those people with low IQ.
Buhari has been collecting his salary even when he is not performing. Why then owe the people that are sacrificing their own life for the populise.

Government is at fault here, why should you owe salary to essential workers....Owing them salary is like starving yourself of food and water for a long time without a targeted benefit....

Although Nigerians are in trying time, government should do the needful before other health workers join in 48hours time.

There should also be increased incentive for every health worker especially now, the health workers lives are more at risk.
