Gwagwalada Hospital?

Travel ban has forced everyone to stay and enjoy the health facilities they developed. He would have been flown abroad before. God works in a mysterious way. If Buhari catches it, he will be forced to be under the care of Nigerian doctors that he loathes and despises. London ain't gonna let him in. I hope billions in account will save them.

Do you still believe this is a hoax and no more dangerous than the flu.

I truly hope that at the end of this pandemic, those in the corridors of power would have learned a thing or two.

Atiku's son would probably have been on his way out of naija for medical attention, but for the closure of the borders of these countries.

Now, the high and mighty are all stuck to our quack medical services they have abandoned and refused to invest in.

Indeed, what goes around comes around.

I pray that beautiful and progressive lessons be learned from this setback. And that at the end of all this, we will become wiser and more patriotic as a people.

Let me say Amen to your wishes. I equally hope that people across political divides would learn not to play petty politics with issues that portend calamity for the nation if not handled well.

Some problems do not play politics.

Let me end this by wishing Atiku Abubakar's son and all those already infected with the virus and other ailments speedy recovery.

Even if it means emergency crowdfunding, we need ventilators and emergency ICUs urgently.
Instead of people to think of solutions, they are buying rice and beans and preparing to hide.

Nigeria is not a priority country, when it comes to the scramble for any of these important equipments!
Prevention is always better than trying to find a cure!

Governor of NewYork, who has over fifteen Thousand confirmed infected, narrated how himself and other Governors, hospitals, middle men, etc were competing for the purchase of just Face Mask that costs 85cent a few days earlier and they are now doimng competitive bidding for $7 for each face mask. grin grin

Can Nigeria compete in the same market with such actors, even if we put the whole 2020 budget on the table?
Dont forget the Americans are talking of trillions of Dollars (Paper Money they just print, while the rest of the world pays with their resources!) as emergency funding for Covid!

Nigerians cant die of Covid, on an empty stomach, abeg make dem buy Rice joor.
But seriously, only a complete 24hr lockdown for at least two weeks, (Chinese-Italian Style) can stem the catastrophe that this Muumu President forced us into, by not closing the air-space on time, because his daughter was yet to arrive from the UK.

Hey guys, hang in there.

At this time people need to lean towards helping each other more as we have no faith whatsoever in our current government. Be nice to someone that needs help now, think about it. You only need food and shelter to stay out of the streets for now. Help someone!

He will be smuggled out of our border like a bag of Rice and then secretly ferried through Sudan, to Saudi Arabia!
Remember how Yar Ardua's case was conducted?

But the good thing about this Virus is that it will hammer these Old Looters and thieves more than the younger generation whose immune system might still be resilient (assuming paraga and other illicit alcoholic stuff has not made them predisposed to lung/tracheal diseases).

Imagine a list that says Abctual President, Buubu and his four mouht pieces all have Corona Virus! grin grin

So calling for borders to be closed to protect Nigerians is now politics?

If they're in power would they have closed the border as that time? It is easier for you all to come online to criticize. People that will not attend the CDA meeting of their area. People that can't talk at family meetings will come online, facelessly to criticize every of government's action

Saudi Arabia was one of the first countries to close its borders. People who travelled out of that country to Iran and other places were given 2 days to report to the authorities or face very terrible consequences.

Nigeria always has a way of treating things with kid gloves.

Please bring him to Europe - Italy, Germany or UK for proper professional medical treatment!

So Nigerian hospitals are capable now.. Time for them all to reflect and equip our hospitals and pay our health services workers well.

In five years, Buhari has not built a SINGLE HOSPITAL, yet he is the most sickly person in Nigeria!
Isn't that ironic?
Because he feels he has the UK to run to and waste our money while other unfortunate Nigerians die in our "Cemetry-Hospitals".
Abeg, he should catch this Corona quick-quick, we need to use him to fund and equip our hospitals.

People get well from it with just antibiotics and the fatal rate is less than 2% but the rate of contagious is ×7 more deadly.
Expect it to get to over a thousand cases in Nigeria within the month.

Antibiotics are useless in treating viruses. Many of you do not even bother to get informed. You just come online and rant.

Malaria kills more than Corona and people are not scared of malaria. Please don't listen to people who try to cause panic and spread fear. Malaria is more deadly than corona. So many people have corona and when treated they recover like in other illnesses.

You are mis-informed!
Yes, malaria has been with us for centuries and killed more people but Corona spreads faster and is more infectious than Malaria.
Malaria does not kill as quickly and suddenly as Corona Virus, that is why it is even more dangerous than Malaria moreover, malaria is not global, like Corona which has affected 189 out of 195 countries in the world. Malaria is only prevalent in the tropics.

When wa sthe last time malaria killed 783 persons, IN ONE DAY, in ONE Country?
Corona just did that in italy yesterday!

You should read slowly and understand what is being said, before responding!
And if you have soemthing to say, put forward your own SUPERIOR arguements, stating how it can be suppressed.
Dont just criticize a reasoned idea, just because you felt like doing so.

We are talking about arresting a National Pandemic, this one is still talking about such mundane things as seeing his girlfriend!
How does a lockdown of two weeks or three at most, translate to taking away Human Righst?

All the countries that have closed their borders are still trading. They have ways around it. America imports 80% of her pharmaceutical ingredients mainly from China and other countries like india. How will they make drugs when they close borders? Do you think people would not import cars in Nigeria. Is it not countries that are buying oil from Opec countries. Trade will not stop but measure will be put in place to prevent spreading the virus. Trade must go on or the world would crash.
SavageResponse:

How is that even possible?

Will the goods walk across the border by themselves?
