It is becoming almost second nature for most Nigerians, both the educated and non-educated classes, to cross the line while pouring out their hearts on national issues. I agree, there are ample question marks on how the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has acted on and reacted to socio-political, economic, and religious matters; spanning from federal character, insurgency, ethno-religious skirmishes, education, malfeasance, to now presidential invisibility before this coronavirus pandemic.

Naturally, we feel betrayed, used, and insignificant to the presidency. Not paling in comparison to status-quo that should be, your feelings are indeed valid. But letting this emotional pain lead you to hurl insults of all sorts at President Buhari, as rampant online, is an overreaction. As you call him unprintable, reprehensible names and ridicule him through jokes/memes, remember he is fallible, someone's husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and holds office of President of Nigeria. It is enough to beg to differ with and criticize constructively his leadership style plus policies. Using constitutional and moral means to show displeasure are in order. Look emotional intelligence's way.

Disturbingly, some people even wish Buhari death, hoping news of his demise filters in soonest. If that's not a representation of the Scriptures' observation that "The heart of man is desperately wicked," then it must be of something worse. If you fall in this category, kindly stop now! Such comments are humor taken too far.

As events unfold and we watch with disappointment, anticipating the National Assembly does the needful and saves the day, let us (Nigerians) amplify our voices to be critically loud enough, not insulting enough.

As far as he continues to act with insolence and with complete disregard, he remains a stupid fellow to me and not worthy of respect. Never in the history of this country has a government had a complete disrespect to its citizens and with gross impunity and high handedness, slapping each citizen with a smile on the face.. Is it the unwarranted killings and unjust proscribing of innocent citizens, remember the service chiefs that are feeding of terrorism and don't want to go or the ignorance displayed of the happenings in his country, or the corrupt fight against corruption. Even recently, his gross negligence to the pandemic happening round the world even that his chief of staff still went ahead to Germany knowing the gravity of the cases around the world when rather they should have closed borders long time ago. As we speak, people are at home without without palliatives apart from the 25 naira fuel price reduction, yet what happened to all the recovered loot from Abacha to convicted politicians from efcc.

Neway, I know there is still God on the throne. In a country like Nigeria, you can't rule out the God factor cos the government never work and the elites will always oppress and suppress the poor. It takes only God to be sufficient and its the same God I look to salvage this nation at least for my sake but it will never take away the fact that this Buhari government is the worst government yet and the man in charge is an incompetent tribalistic fellow surrounded, tossed around by greedy and wicked selfish beings who are using his place of authority to pursue personal ambitions and abusing powers for selfish gains, even right under his nose.

If it were in saner climes, his head will be on a stick by now.

Just imagine a whole 8 yrs that is being wasted by this man and you saying we shouldn’t insult him.

It's just a pity majority of u ill-heads and untrained charlatttans on Nairaland didn't know what is coming for u in the coming months.

This disease is going to wipe alot of arses and dump them six feet down the drain. U all feel u re untouchable as far as u hurl ur insults in the safe haven of ur holes, but remember many that wish Buhari dead have turned skeletons on their graves. Asked the numerous doomsayer prophets from that dirty and gloomy color flag Republic.
As I understand nothing this govt can ever do to satisfy this ravenous and degenerated minds from Biafra. The best thing to do to keep this people in excruciating and endless suffering is to give them the total control of their bloody land. They will eat themselves out in a macabre dance of shame, fragrant disregard for rule and regulations, fake produce of everything and I mean everything and then penchant for stealing like that Orji's son.
The igbo people had one of the most backward regions in Nigeria today because of deep inherent hatred for other tribes which made them impervious to all sort of misrule and embezzlement being perpetrated by their own sons governing their lands.
Igbos are hydra headed monsters waiting to devour itself because what happens next when all this deep seethed hatred has no victims to feast on? I mean when u are all on ur own in this ur Utopian Biafra society where everything, milk and honey, flow in the land, where one doesn't have to work to eat because its perfect with perfect leaders how then do u fed this inborn hatred running deep in all of u especially the strange breed of igbos whose natural habitat is Nairaland? The tweeter breeds are even less hateful than their Nairaland kins.

I write this because of a strong conviction that no other tribes in Nigeria exhibit such hatred against any govt that is not from their side or any religion not their own.
Common we all know even Hausa have a healthy numbers of Christians well known today but such can not be found in igbo land.
Let love find its way to ur heart for one's cos as it stands now no one know who will emerge from this scourge when it's all done.
Don't die with this venoms in ur hearts.

Okay. You mentioned Agriculture. If not for Buhari swift closure of the borders forcing us to produce our Rice, what would we be eating now that Rice is not coming from Corona infested Asia?

What about infrastructure?

Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan Railway
Kaduna-Abuja Railway
Ajaokuta-Itakpe-Warri Railway
Apapa-Oshodi-Iyana_Oworo Expressway
Oyo-Ogbomoso Expressway

Those are projects abandoned by PDP for 16 years while they were looting and sharing our treasury.

You are not ashamed.

You call this achievement for six years?

Op doesn't know where he is.

They have been insulting and wishing him dead since 2015 but the man is looking younger and fresher.

Some swore he would die before his first tenure but he became healthier and younger.

Some swore that God hates Buhari and will take his life but they have died before him.

Some swore he will not return in 2019 but he's here.

Some swore he was Jibrin because of how fresh and healthy he is looking.

Buhari is President and will receive pension for life.

Some will not live till 75 like Buhari.

Maybe it is the insults that are keeping him alive and fresh.

A lot of them; when you advice them to criticise but not insult, they say you insulted Jonathan too.

What law says that anyone who tells you to stop insulting Buhari was among those who insulted Jonathan?

And then they say what goes around comes around Wtf! Was it Buhari that insulted Jonathan?

So Please everybody don't stop ooh. Continue the insults.

The man is waxing.

Some won't even live as long as Buhari has lived.

Some of you, even your parents won't live as long as Buhari.

So continue wishing him dead and insulting.

Interesting

From the record, this account was created in 2013.

We would appreciate to see posts you made during Goodluck Jonathan administration, which you tried to inform other usernames not to insult him and his wife.

If there were none, my advice is do not be a hypocrite.

Have you not heard the saying 'Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown?' If you know you dont want to be insulted stay in your lane- mind your family and business. Never run for public position (if you must, you should at least be very sound and tolerable)

Obama & Jonathan were mocked. Those who mocked Obama came across as stupid while those who mocked Jonathan had jolly-rides.

Infact you don't know what you're saying, even Jesus was mocked by people he came to save talkless of politicians who are filled with greed, avarice and deceit. Abeg! talk another thing.

Wrong prayer.

Infact Nigeria is very complex, no President has handled Nigeria well.

In my rating none of Obadanjo, Jonathan and Buhari will get a 40 percent pass mark for the way they handled Nigeria.

The problem is that people who insult Buhari are those who support PDP or Jonathan.

So you too if you feel Jontahenn handled Nigeria well,

May your life be handled by God the way Jonathan and OBJ handled Nigeria.
