Here we go again. They're stylishly telling us that the donations made by individuals and corporate bodies shall be used for conducting tests for individual who wishes to be tested.
Our leaders are the source of our problems. This virus wouldn't have gained access to this country in the first place, these same unpatriotic leaders caused it. One thing I believe is that after this whole thing is over, nairalanders shall count their households and non shall be missing.
u are very correct .all Nairalanders are covered nothing can happen to us.

God bless you. A lot of people have smart phones but yet still very dumb. A simple research using google would have given them an hint as to how expensive carrying out a test is.

I keep saying there are still brilliant minds on these forum. Google will answer a lot of questions. Kudos.

Do u know how much I have lost this periodas a result of this imported disease u and your children. Brought upon us.

Seconded.
They are so shameless,it's as if they are doing us a huge favour being in position.

It's time as this that govt should be more closer to the people and make provisions, essentials, necessities available at all cost to the people..
It's such a shame we have these arrogant, ignorant people as our leaders.
This country needs serious drastic purging and overhaul

Is N10,000 too much for one person (even though we know it's inflated)?

Hmmm

Much as I don't have any love for this government and Naija politicians in general, I must admit there is some level of credibility to this claim.
In UAE, one had to pay AED375 for the test (this is about USD101.68
Though the test is made free for pregnant women and those above age 65.

Also, you may Google to see how much the test costs in certain cities in USA. Health insurance may cover part of the cost in some places.
There are different billing modalities involved in different countries and locations.

how much does it cost in Canada and UK.

I don't think he has inflated the cost.
It's a new disease and the test kits are new too.

I read from a foreign article that each test kit costs $250
Do the Maths

.
Oga so if getting the kits cost a lot, does the same kit give them a run down of how much it would cost “it” to carry out test on humans, oh please. The mistake was made letting this foreign disease bite deep into the populace, and now they are putting the blames and brunt on us indirectly. At this point in time since it’s not deadly in Nigeria let everyone get back to work we can manage the disease ourselves

Now
#10,000 x 131= 131 000000
We need to increase the positive cases so that we go get more money.
Later
Positive 1000000
#1331 0000000000

it cost #10,000 therefore, I don't know how some people reason. is money more important than human lives? what of all the billions that have been donated by individuals and corporate organisations.
More people are infected in Nigeria than we know just that the government is not doing enough to get people tested, I hope they act fast before the virus gets out of hand.
