The exponential growth is alarming. We are heading towards the peak. cry

The myopic people calling COVID-19 an audio virus are the reason for this spread. The government has done it's bit, ordered a lockdown but no, people won't stay at home or observe social distancing.

In the UK when the lockdown was announced, the trains in London were being filled to the brim, commuters defying the stay at home order. They have over 114,000 cases now.

In the US, there are over 739,000 cases with New York having almost 300,000 cases.
Lagos is more populated than New York. What does that tell us?
We recorded our first case in Nigeria just one month after them.

The real audio here is that we currently have way more than the 542 cases that have been confirmed because the tests are not performed at the way that they should.

Every comment about the virus being a hoax should be deleted by the spam bot. If learned people who have access to the internet can be talking about it being a hoax despite seeing people die, I wonder what is going on in villages.

Nigeria doesn't have enough healthcare facilities to take care of the sick. The government has failed us already, let's stop failing ourselves.
Stay safe everyone.

Nice input but Lagos population is not more than New York, as at 2010 the State of New York was having 19.4m people while lagos was having 10m then

I will rather trust what Pastor Chris says than trust this hopeless lying Zoohari government, a govt that before they came in they told us N220 to $1 are we ok with it? That told us subsidy is a scam, that told us if they don't fix power in 1 year we should stone them, told us they will create millions of jobs........ but today none of it is true!

I wonder what the ones who governed you for 16 years promised you and delivered to you that made you wanted them to continue?

And you want me to trust what that kind of government says about 5G? A government that is a new day a new lie government

Do we even use 5G in Nigeria?

People are already adapting. Eku lockdown grin

So can you now see that what we told you a short while ago that the COVID situation in Nigeria was understated is true? That there were only low numbers because of severely limited testing. Now that testing rate has increased (it's still not enough), we are reporting higher numbers.

Or do you still believe the whole COVID reportage in Nigeria is a hoax? I would want to believe you've been cured of the profound ignorance you put on display some weeks ago.

I have a feeling that you are affiliated to the healthcare system, maybe as a nurse or auxiliary or something. So for you to be misleading others online (and exposing them to danger) all this while is extremely disappointing for someone with an education, and probably knowledgeable in health matters as well.

You are not seeing anything, how does this relate to Pastor Chris Conspiracu theory message... if you think the Nigerian Govt. lied about Kyari's death (I also tot about it for a while too but it's a baseless argument), but the issue of having more cases in Lagos? This is expected and not a result of 5G haba!!!

Nah. It won't. Unfortunately the smart Alecs in the north are just about to start their own rampant spread. They have refused to cut out their stu.pid religious gatherings...

CzarChris:
At this rate, I believe Nigeria is about to peak. By next weekend, I expect a sharp drop in number of newly infected persons.

Considering the level of illiteracy out there, because many people still don't believe that this COVID-19 is real. God has truly been our saving grace.

When they closed the airports for international flights they left Lagos and Abuja open. Moreso Lagos and Abuja are the country's economic nerve centers. Nothing to do with 5G, with this virus, growth is exponential and not arithmetic.

Lolz conspiracy theorist. In the whole of Africa it's only South Africa that has the infrastructure for 5g. You think 5g is free, the technology set is very expensive and am not sure any of our telecommunications company are ready to invest in it cause of the cost associated with it. They have not even given us an effective 4g sef

They say that a word is enough for the wise, I live in the USA and people are dying everyday and the numbers of the dead are close to 40K as I write and some low information person is claiming that this is audio virus. If your so called Pastor/s, who used to heal and raise the dead cannot openly tell you that God has spoken to him and that what he or she is saying is a message from God concerning this Corona Virus and 5G or not, then the Pastor is speaking for him or herself and has been performing abracadabra for financial gain.

Let any so called Pastor head to any isolation center in Nigeria or Worldwide and use their power and heal those with Covid 19 so we can believe them. Black people are dying more of this disease because the white supremacists are now using propaganda to make non white people become careless and get infected so they can die off. Trump just realized that most of the dead are Blacks and Non whites, so he decides that they dont matter and wants to reopen the country so that other non white people can get infected also and die of the disease. His protesters had masks?? Be wise and stay safe. Better late than NEVER!!.

Lol. If some form of radioactivity would kill you....it won't be the radio waves carrying cell phone signals. SATs are beaming signals all round the globe more effectively than cell phone towers...and they've been doing that for decades. The Sun's rays & subsequent radiation are more powerful than said radio signals. Heck, your microwave oven is even more capable of damage.
On the issue of the cables being laid.....you realize that the telcos have been doing this non-stop for years now, to expand the current capacity and accessibility to communications. If you are using a digital network to type these your theories out....millions of other users are typing out their own theories as well! You all need the capacity so that you can come here to use cheap data to type your nonsense! The tvseries4mobile you keep downloading to use on ur 32k phone has to get to you somehow. That is what those cables are for CAPACITY EXPANSION.

As for the tests they already carried out...its called a proof of concept....they don't need to lay out the full network infrastructure to set a test up. That's why it is tested in one or 2 locations. They lay temporary or even use existing infrastructure, cut off the current service to one or 2 cell sites, activate the new service for a week or 2 on the new service, run the tests, deactivate & then work on the results.
Wait.....do you have any professional knowledge of the field you're holding a discussion in??

Openbusiness:

I didn't say 5G is causing COVID-19, I said I will rather trust pastor Chris than trust this lying government. What did Pastor Chris say that I trust? He said they are currently laying 5G cables in Lagos and Abuja. The government said they have not granted 5G license to anyone. Then MTN said they have already successfully tested it in certain places in Nigeria. How could they have tested it without putting the infrastructure in place? So obviously the government is the one lying here, not Pastor Chris. The argument is not that 5G causes Coronavirus. The argument is that the 5G networks are killing people with their radioactivity. Is that a lie or is it true, has anyone scientifically proven either case to be true or false to lay the matter to rest? No! It's a new tech and it's too soon to determine the long term effects and how it affects different demographics of people because we are not the same, and what doesn't affect a Korean might affect a Nigerian and what doesn't affect a Nigerian might affect and Indian. Science is not always black and white, sometimes there are grey areas and the 5G network is a work in progress.

d 5g on s/k still use a low frquency of 3.5ghz spectrum almost like 4g and its abt 2m users.

the 5g frequency everyone is complaining abt ranges from 90ghz to 300ghz.

Meaning? It causes covid-19? Or, it causes cancer?
You need to educate yourself about ionising and non-ionising radiations.

Secondly, you're wrong about 5G frequency. It operates at much lower frequency, highest is 6ghz! Where are you guys getting your misinformation?
