Hello everyone...

I found out a mistake was made on my issued 4-tier VISA. A wrong passport number was input ( a T was written instead of a 7). I returned it back to the TSL office where I did my drop off for correction on 16th October.

My concern now is I haven’t gotten any message from them indicating they received it back more so , not knowing when it will be ready for collection is so disturbing...

Please who has an idea how this is being corrected please

Hopefully you shld get it on or before Friday. You lucky you got decision email, been waiting for my dependant decision email(priority since 7th October nothing yet calls I made with the response not encouraging). Sit tight and stay positive for this week. UKVI seems to have many backlogs hence the slow response

I must have received about 6 non straightforward messages, even though i don't see any reason why my application shouldn't be straightforward. I had only attempted to travel out of nigeria, once before now, and it was successful. I travelled to the UK on a 6 months visit visa, and i spent just 2 weeks, before returning to Nigeria, back in 2017. I believe my application was processed as standard, on purpose, because the latest resumption date on my CAS says nov 9. Maybe they didn't feel i was in a hurry. We'll never know. The non straightforward messages is to stop me from applying for a refund. No wahala.

Congratulations bro. I would still apply for a refund though if I were in your shoes. It would be left for them to refund you or not, there is no harm in trying especially when you feel there is no reason why your application shouldn't be straight forward.
