2 obviously started overtaking from a sharp bend and 3 began overtaking while approaching a sharp bend.

Overtaking should be done on a straight road and approaching vehicles should be at least about 500m away.

You guys aren't looking. Based on where the other vehicles are facing.... Vehicle 4 driver should be psycho analyzed.. He mad. He is on what we call ONE WAY. He is the only one overtaking in this picture.

2 and 3 at fault. Solid line or broken line doesn't matter. There was not enough room to overtake safely.

I was even trying to figure out perhaps it's a right hand drive community, it still not right to overtake there.

from the picture the OP shared Bus Labelled 1 is on the right(correct) side of the road based on the Nigerian system and the truck labelled 3 was trying to overtake where the road marking was clearly Unbroken lines (Meaning Overtaking is not allowed). So you don't expect the Driver of the bus to give way to traffic on his left because at that point no traffic is expected to be on his left....and giving way to traffic on your left applies mostly when approaching a roundabout not that type of road....... (Note: As a defensive driver if you are being overtaken, that is not the time to increase speed allow them pass and go in peace) we will all get to our various destination

They are just testing your intelligence, simply tell them that the picture is photoshopped, they will bring out the original one..

3 & 4 are wrong.
3 shouldn't have overtaken with solid line and also, given the heavy duty vehicle that it is it may not have been moving in a speed that passed that of 2. Largely, it wasn't safe to overtake at that time. [color=#990000][/color]Very wrong!

Concerning 4, it suppose to slow down so that 1 can be in front to avoid impending accident.

where are those vehicles really going to? Lagos or Kano? And what are they conveying? corona palliatives or Dangote cement?

I think you are correct. 3 is the one at fault. If it had maintained at the rear of 1, 2 could complete its maneuver without a head-on collusion with 1.

U guys r funny. The wrong truck here is 4. Simply cos u do not overtake from the right. If 4 gave 2 right of way,he would be behind 2(patience),then 3 will successfully overtake 1 and keep diving forward cos he is doing the right thing by overtaking from the left.

You meant to say 1 yeah?
Because from the look of things, 1's shadow cast is ahead of 3's given the geographical terrain and line of sight. Meaning 1 is doing the overtaking.

How about the one on the opposite direction on the right side over-taking where there is a sharp bend? That's wrong too.

Look at the picture well. The overtaking started right from the curvy sport. No way he could be by the other vehicle's side if the over taking hasn't begun way back.

IT 1&4. 4 IS TRYING TO OVERTAKE 2 because OF INCOMING 3 AND 1 IS TRYING TO OVERTAKE 3 because HE FEELS HE IS SLOW
