Clueless people always shifting the blame, they are never proactive, they are always reactive, even when the land boarders were closed since last year, are we're still not hearing of massive smuggling and seizure of rice?the fact is, this pandemic caught all facet of government unaware, the main koko of the problem at hand is as a result of our underdevelopment and total neglect of our health facilities all through the years

The lockdown was supposed to ease the burden on the health care system as well as to do rapid and intensive testing, build emergency hospitals, give the citizens palliatives/monies to ease the burden. China built a hospital in 8 days during their lockdown, the UK built 3 emergency hospitals with a 4000 bed capacity each during their lock down. These measures will enable the hospitals care for the second or third wave of infection after the lockdown is lifted.

Nigerian Polithefians looked at the West and blindly copied the lockdown measure without equipping the already threadbare hospitals, they refused to build new emergency hospitals and have refused to give its citizens palliatives to tide them over. Monies were donated from everywhere including the EU, IMF WHO, UN etc as well as Kind Nigerian citizens and organisations. The Nigerian Polithefians used this lockdown period to loot the monies and now are ready to lift the lockdown with no measures set in place. God help and protect Nigerians. The Polithefians cannot travel abroad so we are all in this together.

This is just a more diplomatic way of saying 'Sanwo-Olu Blames Buhari...'

You are correct, but it’s politically incorrect since they both belong to the same party

Sanwolu grow some balls and lockdown Lagos for another month, heaven will not fall, El-rufai has locked down for another 30 days, if you need more time that's why you are an executive governor. If things escalate more than this, no one will listen to your excuses o

You all should tell him. I am not interested in his foolish escuse. He has power to shut down Lagos. If this issue escalate he will be held responsible.

As far as I am concern, the issue is still manageable. If it goes beyond control then he has blood on his hands.

Easier said than done.
Closure of the country's all borders is a delicate issue.
Every countries watched others before they took the step.

Perhaps the govt. wanted the virus to enter the country properly so that they can use Nigerian lives to collect their share of donations from international bodies like U.N, WHO etc.

Baba GO SLOW is tonne blamed. I can assure you that after his tenure I will sue him to court for negligence and economic losses which might run into billions in damages. In the alternative he should serve a prison term in.my village prison.

Did you know that if Buhari closed the airport before Abba Kyari's arrival, we would have reduced the number with aggressive tracing and absolute quarantine (no self isolation). And Abba Kyari might even be alive now because he'll be treated in one of the finest hospitals in Germany instead of Lagos abi Saudi Arabia.

What about illegal movement across borders? This is a lame excuse at best? With the way powerplay works in Nigeria, who could have put Kyari in isolation?

Our only consolation is the late arrival which gave us time to prepare but we were busy watching and hoping on some prophecy of TB Joshua.
Pls give credit to who deserve it...lagos state govt really gave its all to control d spread...
I ll always be grateful to her!!
However my advice to u ...."mr lame excuse" is to save ur data to install arabic and hausa translator on ur fone...post videos, and whatever to advise d people of kano...and d rest of d north not to endanger us beyond this near irreversible increase on cases...knowing fully most of our food staples comes from d north...
