Beggars will always beg. It is in their blood. An average Nigerian government official is a beggar who would rather hope and wait for pittance from multinational agencies in hope of stealing such funds rather than look inward to generate fund by supporting businesses who in turn would pay tax to government. Likewise, there are beggar NGOs who wait on foreign donors. Also in this group are beggar startup companies who would say they are seeking for venture capital. So after, getting this fund they are now owned by these venture capitalists and may even lose ownership of the company. Learn to look within and work hard because the international organisations you are going to are not "mumu". They are simply scamming you because their governments can easily print their currencies as much as they wish and then hand the "paper" to their banks who in turn give it as loans to these organizations and it that will end up in your hands. So, you are handing them something of higher value than the "paper" they hand over to you. It is working for them because we are allowing them to "scam" us. See what they did to Gadaffi after he attempted to ensure that Africa has a currency backed by something of value, gold. The US dollar is not backed by anything. The Federal Reserve just print currencies and hand them to banks. It's a fraudulent circus that all western countries supports because they are all involved. And who are the victims. Poor less developed countries.

I'm saying that African leaders have continued the colonialist legacy. What's the difference between a white man sending riches to Europe and an African politician doing the same?

It's laughable wen u borrow on behalf of the entire nation to enrich your pockets, u beg to be forgiven our debts for u to borrow another one hence selling us in installments. I can't wait to leave this shit hole. I'm a citizen yet I don't feel like one. In the midst of plenty yet still hardship. I weep for the world or children is coming to inherit.

It's so shameful that a country like Nigeria, so-called giant of Africa will be this messed up because of fvcking polithiefcians. If na countries like Somalia, Sudan, and others I for understand. Nonsense!

Re: Buhari Begs IMF, World Bank To Cancel Nigeria’s Debts by dasparrow: 9:52pm On May 04, 2020
I pray Nigeria gets no relief. Nigerian lawmakers pay themselves huge salaries and buy brand new cars for themselves each year thereby spending money meant for the country's development on themselves and hiding a lot of that money in their foreign bank accounts overseas. They also use part of the money they embezzle to purchase citizenship by investment in other countries for themselves and immediate family members. Fact!

Nigerian politicians borrow money from various sources and share the money amongst their corrupt greedy selves and yet have the nerve to beg for debt relief. Nigerian government must think white people are dumb. Again, I pray Nigeria as a nation gets no debt relief.

Paperwhite:
The president is not serious. After accumulating staggering debts for Nigeria while downplaying the economic implications it will have on the nation, now he is begging IMF to forgive our debts.

For you information, the $3.4M IMF recently gave Nigeria that the govt & its supporters were alleging it was not a long have long been clarified to be a loan.IMF is not a charity organisation.
lol Even charities when they give they hope to get something out of it. Like no tax or some form of spiritual gratification .Nothing is free in this world .
