A country of cowards

fettered frightened multitude at our backyard,
wailing in sombre sigh, waiting for beckett's “godots”
multitude with talents begs their oppressor to survive,
dying amidst plenty with multitudinous buried unfinished destinies,
stunted by great grand fathers who by hex and vex held million in thralldom
The new oppressor worse than the slave masters of yore bereft of ideas

conquered able bodied myriads
deceived by dinosaurs that some future belongs to them,
and by turns, shameless retards, recycle themselves from North, west south.
old felons fit for gallows, and the slumbering youth
waiting, even at fifty with no more strength to pursue their dreams

Table turned ,
A great giant of yesteryear now a crumbled decrepit through aeonian corruption
rogues who ruled and ruined us now more relevant than a Nobel.
criminals rewrite our history to fit their lenses of lies
corn and national rapist, takes a new title in the vacuum of hero
A country without a hero, the most peopled hub of Africa
A mixture linseed and flaxseed
and their youth sleep on

oh sanctity! What savagery is cast upon your honour,
where religion is the garb of two faced enemies
Leaders as criminals Yes ALL, no hero among thieves.
Desperation for power, bereft of ideas to lit up the darkness

A vast exotic hub of resources , submerged by men without honour
should we name names?
Their conscience loud the wounds for the wealth stolen for their own children
as the rest are cowered in fear, by the Police who they armed protecting them and killing others
How many gloomy days is yet to come?
How long will dreams be buried ?
In the country of cowards
as the youth whose destinies is wasted sleep on

Tony Elumelu and Jim Ovia are Delta Igbos, though they will claim they aren't Igbos

Who fed you the lie that Tony Elumelu claims he isn't Igbo..?

The Igbo by origin and by self acclamation...

How can an Igbo person give money to the govt he doesn't believe in? An average Igbo billionaire will rather use his money to take care of his people, and that's what they are doing, than donate it to a govt that will take the money and take care of other regions. We are wise people.

Seun do something ke? he cant when the very existence of this forum depends on tribal hate, tribal slur snd bigotry. the day tribal bigotry and tribal nonsense stops on nairaland is the day nairaland would go back to the stone ages it was pre 2010...
That’s what I’m trying to tell people that are calling Seun to stop tribal hate cursing on nairaland. Seun is enjoying it and allowing it to fester. Tribalism is driving traffic, and that’s what he is after. What a pity.

So if you are a billionaire, you will donate your hard earned money to this corrupt government to loot instead of reaching out to the people directly??

The Igbo billionaires you are ignorantly mocking are busy donating directly to the people that need the donations and that matters more right now.

A serious govt doesn't need donations from its tax paying citizens to fight pandemic.

They don't have option than to spend there greedily gotten wealth.

Selling a bag of cement for N2500 instead of N950 it's a lot of greed. These billionaire survives on the poor. They hardly support new ideas from the poor except if it's their family members.

They only love our money not us, with Covid 19 around they can not sell or buy and it is the reason they are donating.

I'm not against them making money but not deliberately creating billionaires by investing in new ideas from any Source is my Anger.

God bless those who genuinely donates out of love for humanity.

I am ecstatically delighted and disproportionately flabbergasted with enormous gratification and appreciation for the dispensation of such a tendering and mesmerizing information in which the prestidigitation of the concurrent and subsequent matter is thoroughly demonstrated through the innuances alluding to literal and metaphorical context. It is highly imperative to note that, such is the significance of the aforementioned, distortion in any shape or form will result in catastrophic ramifications to which will be the outcome of epic proportions. I thank you for your unequivocal.

True talk bro.
some of dem are doing eye service to federal government for recognition especially Tony Elumelu.
I don't hate anyone for being successful or whatever but ur gud work in and out speaks for u.
Tony sack his staff this January and coerce them to sign resignation under duress and still deny dem exit letter which some of dem come around our office every day to see what can be done to salvage the situation and they have pension claim they can't make without the exit letter,we are pushing further though but that how terrible human can be.

They should start monitoring up addresses so that bans are on IP and not monikers.

I am sure nairaland doesnt have upto 300k active users the rest are just cloned monikers.

I've seen someone who opened upto 100 monikers in a space of one week cos he kept getting banned and told the mod that the mod will be the one to get tired.

If you ban his ip and he cannot log into nairaland he would have sense by force.

Ban ip for 1 week then 2 then 1 month and see sanity return..

All these tribal warriors should get 1 month straight.

Nairaland is now a crap place to visit and many kids just litter the place with juvenile rants.

Irritating
This will be very good if it can be done, ban IP. But the owner of this forum won’t do it because he likes the tribal wars, to him traffic is all that matters. We have been shouting for ages now, no changes.
