This country is filled with the highest number of dumb dimwits that can be found anywhere in the planet.
Electing the dumbest man to ever walk the earth was not enough.
They re-elected him again for the second time.

Now the Government said they are spending over 13 billion feeding school children that are at home. Imagine the insult on our intelligence due to the majority of dumb dimwits we have in this county.
And this same dimwits are defending this glaring scam. Taking crumbs to defend people who gave you nothing but servitude, looting the future of your unborn generations with reckless abandon.
What a coagulation of vile stupidity.
The joke writes itself in this ceespool of a country.

''So, the first fallacy debunked is that the project did not originate from the minister and if that is the case, where is the so-called love for projects that can’t be tracked? Now, it will surprise many to note that contrary to speculations, the Take-Home Ration option is not a Nigerian invention neither is it a HOMEGROWN scam. According to the World Food programme, there are 17 countries currently distributing Take-Home rations to school children. In Liberia, Take Home Rations have been distributed since 2019. We the silent majority know.

Let the very noisy minority continue to wail all over social media.

Palliatives come in different forms across the world.

USA is giving raw cash running into trillions of nairadollars ,wailers are hailing.

Just to reach households via the school feeding programme, misguided elements are wailing.

What Nigeria is doing is far more productive than doling out cash.

More Farmers and food vendors would be productively engaged.

Even transporters of food items .

How about manufacturers of packaging materials?

The list is endless,a direct effect on GDP.

From d article, Kindly explain how d govt is going about its school feeding programme while children are at home?

Oga,government expenditure is multifarious.Spending N13b on palliatives does not preclude expenditure on building factories.

The producers of the food items are employing millions of Nigerians, including parents of the pupils. The items being produced are manufactured by factories,so I do not get your point.

Or government should kill those factories producing the food items and build 26 other factories in 36 states of the federation?

Economic sense is not common.

And by the way,How many government factories have succeeded globally?

Every school has a database of the addresses of their pupils. We like to make simple things complex. What's the big deal about getting the addresses of students for God's sake?

Is the addresses students use at school, different from what they use for common entrance exams or WAEC?

If your address is not traceable, you lose out, simple.

Or we should bury the idea just because some addresses may not be traceable?

This programme is localised to states and local government, why should location tracing be a major issue :

From d article, Kindly explain how d govt is going about its school feeding programme while children are at home?

But you all applauded the UK and US government when they few weeks ago took foods items to their citizens in their various home. Why is the same process now not necessary in Nigeria?
Because there is almost nothing done by our government with sincerity of purpose, everything has an undertone of fraud. How does it sound to label an expense as feeding school children in the face of this lockown and the children are out of school session? Don't these children have parents or are they orphans under the perpetual care of FG? Other climes did same, but they labeled it appropriately and distributed accordingly.

an obvious deluded idiot.....U fail to see obvious scams

More farmers and food vendors will be productively engaged when most of them are home and there is ban on interstate movement?
Or manufacturers that are running into bankruptcy due to economic challenge of lockdown in a protracted economy?
transportation of food items when there is a complete ban on interstate activities? why of all time are they prioritizing this lockdown time for this bland program....I guess u know how money is stolen without questions and traces.

Iamundisputed:
But why the insistence on feeding children when they're obviously out of school? Before the program, were the kids eating sand?
We all know APC is only keeping the cash flow going and that is evident of a huge scam in place.

Lagos state head teachers were recently briefed to send 39 student names per school, which means they are just strategizing on how to patch the account in case someone asks questions. How many kids have they been feeding? I am saying this authoritatively that APC is scamming Nigerians!

The amount of money spent (almost N700 million or 2 million USD per day) on "feeding" the kids would create factories and other industries that would eliminate poverty and help create a better social security for the people.

May God judge all these people looting our commonwealth! angry

A reputable and neutral media organization has done it's homework and enlightened Everyone yet you still want to continue the scam narrative. Did you read where they invited DSS, ICPC, EFCC and others to monitor the program? Must you criticize the government everytime??
I will rather listen to Vanguard than believe a faceless poster online. Anybody with half a brain and a neutral mind will do same. Some people don't know that there are numerous parents who can't feed their kids at home. Feeding kids CAN NEVER be a waste of money!

Calling school feeding a scam is senseless because this is a scheme that's directly impacted on school pupils. This makes them grow and develop their brain function. How many parents have the means to feed their pupils before they go to schools in out public schools.

Our leaders enjoyed free education, free meal and other benefits during their times, let's these kids enjoy their scheme in peace
Re: School Feeding Programme Not A ‘Scam’ - Vanguard by Nobody: 4:05am On May 19, 2020
Feeding school kids who are at home and being fed by their parents? This 13billion naira would be better spent on the economy that is heading for a deep depression.

This is another avenue to loot without accountability. There is a special shelf in the hottest part of hell for Nigerian Politicians.

We can no longer trust the Nigerian News Channels/media as they have become mouthpieces for corrupt governments. I hope the 30 pieces of silver was worth it Journalists, at the end of the day these Politicians are looting for themselves and their progenies

Where’s the evidence of its delivery to the 3m households as mentioned, did you ever come across parents actually conforming to the receiving the so called ‘THR’
To think there are citizens actually insupport of this money milking scheme is really appalling

Did you read the same article, have they told you they have given out the food items to 3m household already?
I hope you definitely understand the meaning of sensitisation?

In the time since I was here last, we have made progress on the overhauled Home Grown School Feeding Programme and sensitization has already begun in the three frontline states of Lagos, Ogun and the FCT in readiness for full implementation.” Her announcement, understandably, made the news. “Why we’re going ahead with school feeding during lockdown.

Raw food items are giving such like the ones you read in the post to their parents. The program is not new just the it's being modified to the present home feedings, likewise the schools and the students are not new. The parents go to accredited centres, with a special designed vouchers to collect the raw food items
