Love, Money, Physical Attraction are not meant to build a lasting marriage. They are just like the Spicy ingredients, not the essential ingredients, and when it comes in contact with water (marital issues) it dissolves and dissapears.

I read a story here and I was perplexed, a couple love themselves dearly but they are AS genotype, they overlook that fact because they were blindfolded by love and what others will say yet they went ahead to marry, and when it seems like they are about welcoming in Sickel cell offspring they began to regret their decision, which makes them began to resent themselves and then the marriage began to slowly tip to the edge of divorce, this is not good. You should love your partner in relationship to the point of wanting the best for them, it's not compulsory you end up together rather help them to achieve the best out of every situation they might found themselves.

Also, You may decide to end up with a rich spouse because you love the good and flashy things of Life, who doesn't? We all do but what of after the wedding, he began to travel here and there and doesn't even have time to stay two days in a week with you, maybe you only see him once in a month due to his travel schedule, anyway he's only doing what he knows how to do best, making money for you to spend forgetting that you have some other needs and you need his companionship. This has sent so many marriages packing due to some of the vices that usually comes out of it, like not faithful to one's partner (cheating), Philandering, child out of marriage, deceit, health hazard etc if you love your wife, you will know and understands that she has needs and therefore satisfy her needs without leaving her wandering and hanging in the balance to the point of reaching out to external source to satisfy her needs.
Understand that your companionship she will desire almost at every moment of quietness she finds herself but you whom are thoughts and desires are with is far away in another land.

As the earth wax old and fade away so does human body wax old and tear apart. That banging body you are dying for, that you decided to look above all other things just to get into marriage will very soon fade away before your eyes and then you'll be wandering what really hit you and made you land in that marriage. Physical attraction does not live up to 8% of marriages worth, the beauty you see today we'll be so gone tomorrow and then you will be face with the reality of what marriage truly is.

Godly character and good attitude are the essential ingredients needed for a lasting marriage, let these be revealed in the love and respect you have and show for each other. Ephesians 5:22-28, this goes to the partners in relationships, male and female alike, love and respect yourselves, endeavor not to hurt each other, understand and support each other and let God have his way between you too.

If your character is bad and ungodly your marriage/relationship will suffer loss or be broken, but if your character is sweet as the falling of the morning dew on the skin, it will make your marriage flourish and enviable.
