In 2023, both parties will have no choice but to give their tickets to Igbomen, same way it done for Yorubas in 1999 for peace, equity, justice and fairness to reign.
However, if peradventure you guys decide to sabotage it, then you will be handing the presidency to the North on a platter of gold.

This will never happen. The Yoruba, unlike you, never called their country a zoo, their president a clone, or continuously rained insults on the rest of the country for 5 years and counting before they were conceded tickets of the two major political parties at the time.

So now you want sudden favours from the "janja_weed" APC after all your antagonism and rejection over the years? Lol.

The imminent harvest of the fruits of your seeds of hate in 2023 is the equity and justice, and not giving our presidential ticket to an undeserving section on a platter of gold.

Pre-2015/IPOB, your fantasy might have been considered, but right now we would rather have two camels as candidates than to have what you suggested.

YOU'RE JUST CRYING WOLF FOR NOTHING.
AFENIFERE, OHANEZE, SW SE & CS GOVERNMENTS AND TRADITIONAL RULERS SHOULD COME TOGETHER TO DECLARE TO INEC AND THE FG THAT THERE WILL BE NO 2023 IF OUR 36 CONSTITUTIONAL STATES ARE NOT GRANTED FULL AUTONOMY OF POLICING RESOURCING AND ELECTIONEERING CONTROL BEFORE TO THIS YEAR END.
ANY FURTHER DELAY IS INDULGING RIFA-RUGA ISLAMISATION FULANISATION AND ANARCHY TO THRIVE.

The mandate wasn't given to him on a platter of gold

This list proves the mandate was given to OBJ on a platter of gold.

First of all, we all know Yorubas were already heavily in AD.
We know Yorubas were not up to 67% of PDP then.

So the 67% of votes that OBJ got was from the non-Yoruba candidates. This is very simple.

Secondly, the APP ticket was given to Falae on a platter of gold. Ogbonnaya Onu had to stand down even though he was chosen as the APP presidential candidate, which was a much bigger party than AD

Yoruba should stop commenting in this kind of thread abeg. The 2015 & 2019 elections left deep scars in Iboes and they have not stopped blaming Yoruba for taking food from their mouths cheesy

All these threads are just expressions of pain and anguish by Iboes who have realized that Yoruba are not their mates at all. But as usual, they will want to drag south south into their bitterness.

2023 still far. Let the iboes wail all their minds outcheesy

The SE and SS will pay the SW back in 2023, if the SW dares produce a presidential candidate on the APC platform

There is a difference between party primaries and presidential election.
Yorubas were not very significant in PDP, yet Obasanjo was chosen as the presidential candidate with 68% of the total PDP votes.
Igbos are not very significant in APC, and we hope that an Igboman can be chosen as APC's presidential candidate, just the same way PDP chose OBJ in 1999

If the arrangement that was made for the Yorubas in both PDP and APP in 1999 is no longer justifiable by modern day Yorubas, then Igbos who have the greatest moral authority in the South with regards to the Nigerian presidency, will give the north the go-ahead to field a northerner on the PDP platform.

Bottomline is that the SS and SE will vote against any Yoruba that emerges on the APC platform.

Igbos are democratic. Some want a restructured Nigeria. Some want Biafra. Some want the presidency. Or you think Igbos are zombies that must only want one thing.

OF course we all know that the Igbos that want restructuring and those that want presidency can easily switch over to wanting Biafra, if restructuring and presidency are out of reach.

All that the north needs to do to get the presidency in 2023 is to encourage the Yoruba to win the APC presidential candidacy.

Don't get it twisted. The quest for Biafra was borne out of the injustice meted out on Igbos in Nigeria.

We are only seeking for Nigeria to be a just, fair, peaceful and progressive country where every part would have a sense of belonging. However, if these noble demands are not met, then Biafra becomes the only alternative.

The choice is yours to allow peace, progress and equity to reign or we go our way.

2023 will be the last straw and we are watching keenly.

Don't mind these guys, they think they're smart but can't see the bigger picture.

If Boko Haram and fulani herdsmen attacks that is ruining Nigeria didn't stop Northerners from seeking to be president then why should Igbos not seek for the presidency because some of our people are peacefully agitating for Biafra?

Did the IPOB bomb anywhere? Did IPOB kill any Nigerian?

That is what they are not even considering. A Yoruba president was elected in 1999 in spite of OPC activities.
A Fulani president was elected in spite of all the terrorism that the fulanis have brought to the country.

So also must an Igboman be elected the president in spite of the peaceful activities of IPOB, otherwise a Fulani man will be elected in 2023

On point 100%. The reason Igbos are huge fans of political blackmail is because they know, aside from all others agreeing to 'dash' them the Presidency, they can never win a Nigerian Presidential election against any non-Igbo today because they have burnt their bridges many times over and turned them into ashes and dust.

GEJ had some issues no doubt, but there was no denying the fact he was a true Democrat and meant well for the country. However, as 2015 elections approached, his worst critics were the SW. Now, if such criticisms were borne out of good intentions it would have been helpful, but what we saw was outright use of propaganda, lies, slander and all manner of smear campaign all targeted at the person of GEJ. While South East and South South fought hard to at least give GEJ some deserved support, Tinubu went into alliance with the North and together, they contrived to remove GEJ from office.

Today, the corruption allegations, insecurity, maladministration etc. This same Tinubu and his minions accused GEJ have become brazenly out of control yet the SW have kept silent, and even when Igbos complain about how the country is fast going downhill, the SW pretend that Nigeria is now perfect under Buhari even when the country has never had it worse. They are doing all these based on selfishness and greed to show Buhari and the Northerners that they are standing with them. Their believe is that the North will compensate them for being so loyal to them.

The SW through Tinubu, are now cunningly championing a return of power to the South as a mantra, with the hope that APC will give their ticket to Tinubu while PDP should give theirs to an Igboman. By so doing, they will now use the APC control of the center to manipulate things for Tinubu to win.

The SW have forgotten that he who must come to equity must come with clean hands. How can a region that have ruled for 8 years as president and another 8 years as Vice president have the guts to tell another not to contest while they can freely contest. Such thinking is not only selfish but also illogical. If the SW feels they can contest in 2023, then nothing stops the NW or any region at that from doing so.

Unfortunately for the SW, the Northerners are even far more cunning and self preserving than they can imagine. During the run-up to 2015, many northerners in PDP openly and privately campaigned for Buhari who was in APC. Now, they are definitely going to do so again once Tinubu emerges from APC by massively supporting any Northern candidate that comes from PDP.

Lastly, Igbos are not desperately seeking for the presidency because it is in the best interest of those that want Nigeria to remain as one that should be championing Igbo presidency same way everyone championed Yoruba presidency in 1999 as a way of pacifying them over the injustice that was metted to Abiola.

By insisting on contesting in 2023, the SW will only be paving the way for the ultimate emergence of a Northern president.

you guys are lazy and ignorant in Nigerian politics which is your bane look here, at the highest level of political horsetrading, ethnicity and religion are not considered but deep political interests and that is why even politicians from the same village can go against each other cos its all about interests first. Your calculation that yoruba will hustle for votes in the north is not tenable especially looking back in history. It is who the political gladiators trust the most that they work for. This is what we saw in 2011 when gej won and same people who work for him then turn against him in 2015. That is how it works not a south vs north thing. Northerners has voted for southerners and vice versa and it is a dynamic system depending on the swing of political interests. Track records of political participation and those marketing the candidate are also considered.

The Yorubas are masters in this game and will settle for a candidate that the northerners will trust barring whoever pdp will pick as candidate whether from the south or north. We know these are your fears and that's why you are begging for both parties to present an igbo candidate which is impossible because the igbos are yet to contribute anything meaningful to APC. You guys can try your luck sha but your sentiments can't win this game.
