It is a lie....the woman can choose where she belongs. She can choose not to bear her husband's name...joined by marriage doesn't mean she has lost her identity...if there is a marital crisis, the woman will go back to her State of Origin while the Ondo people will be left with nothing....we must always be cautious in whatever we do because things might get out of control in the future ...

It seems no one read the last portion where a prominent Ondo man defended her. She's married to an Ondo man and has the right to claim Ondo as State of Origin.

A typical Nigerian woman no longer have state of origin once she get married. Her father's state people will say she no longer belongs to them, her husband's state people will say she's an outsider. It's better if she starts leaving the space for state of origin blank since she loses identity the moment she gets married.
