After the protest, when schools resume, the government/ministry of education will find more stringent conditions to impose on private schools to suffer them for their protest.
This is Nigeria.

Meanwhile, by the time schools will resume, these private schools especially, those that are not so influencial will lose most of their teachers. The teachers will go into another trade which they may find better profiting than the stress the school owners do subject them to.

Out of the numerous countries in the world. You cud only mention two countries and etc, whose health system is far far better than Nigeria. Even the UK and Yanks, with well equipped medical facilities are wary of allowing children resume for schools.

This is a lie. Schools have since opened in USA and most countries around the world.

There is proof if you still don't believe.

Another wrong assumption by a casual.

Private schools are not doing the government a favor. Without private schools, attaining the Millennium development goals for Nigeria would be impossible.

Private schools have singlehandedly carried and still carrying education in Nigeria.

Private schools and private school teachers need to be pampered and supported. Of course with the aim of getting them better.

Like I always say, Nigerian government is still in primary 1 while her European and Asian counterparts are already graduating university.

Bullying people is never the option. Unless you want to return the nation to anarchy. We are already seeing this in the form of bokoharam anyways.

So make children resume make the virus continue spread among the kids abi? Una too get sense! undecided

Which virus is spreading among children ? The same Northerner working against school reopening are fully operating their islamiyya or arabic school. If virus is not spreading among these children in Arabic schools, what make you think virus will spread among children when school reopen ?

Yes. If it's a National association, their headquarters should either be centrally located or easily accessible to majority of it's members. Maybe it's not a National association.

A good manager should know priorities and learn to think outside the box sir... I am a stakeholder in the education sector so i know what i am saying sir... Trust me any school that fails to pay salary and use covid as an excuse is a Mushroom school and should be closed down.... 20k school fee is not and should never be an excuse... Payment of salary should be of priority to the school management at a time like these... If management cannot run things in school with reserve for upto 6months then they have no business in school management.. Let us stop pushing blame on Govt everytime... Teachers should hold school management responsible for poor finance and not Govt

Which kind of edu stake holder are u Do u or someone very closw to u own a sch U are far from being realistic at all. Do u even own a buz that u av ever employed people on regular salary basis

You run a business and you dont have an idea about keeping a healthy reserve.... So for example you open a shop today and expect profit from day one? Will you not run the place with your reserve funds? Keep giving excuses for mushroom schools to be cheating teachers.... All the best to all of you.

Thanks to everyone that insulted me, I appreciate you all grin

But my own is that no matter what they do the government wouldn't still care.

This Corona virus pandemic has taught me a lot of things

This period has made me to understand that having a degree doesn't mean you would make it in life, you have to work smart not hard. And that is one thing that most people do not know.

Teachers please don't get me wrong I mean no disrespect you guys have the most important job on this planet, but the mistake you guys make is that you teach all your students to depend on school which is very wrong and if you continue like this, in the future you are gonna find a lot of people graduating out if your class right into the unemployment line. Let me tell you a little about WHY SCHOOL SUCKS!

A man by the name of Mark Twain once said: "I never let my schooling interfere with my education". it is said that a child educated only in school is an uneducated child. What does that mean? It means that true education is not merely learned through a textbook. And the way to prove that one understands something is not merely through a test. This is the old way. The chalk and talk way. The way of memorizing facts then taking a test and then forgetting about them a week later. What good does that do? A man by the name of Howard Gardner came up with the theory of multiple intelligences. He said that they are auditory Learners kinesthetic, Learners, people that learn through touch, people that learn through stories. See we all have different gifts and strengths and to create an educational system where only one type of learning is preferred is absurd. Not only unfair but it sacrifices the God given abilities of students, and the good of the world. The best advice I could give a student is figure out how YOU learn. Just because you fail a test doesn't mean you're "slow" just because you are having a hard time understanding something doesn't mean it's impossible. Because they are no bad students, only inflexible teachers. Yeah, I went there. When I was in the third grade my teacher Mrs. Williams wanted to hold me back, she said I was...... "slow". They do not want me saying this but when I was growing up my parents thought that I had mental disabilities. No! I just wasn't understanding in the way that they were teaching. The same man who took us to the Moon Wernher Von Braun failed maths class twice. See nobody is "slow". But the secret is you must figure out how you learn and Learn EVERYTHING you can about what you love and I promise life will become a lot easier.

I know some of you taught I'm very evil or heartless, but I'm sorry for what I wrote it didn't come out right, I hope this post will make u to understand what I really meant to say.

PEACE!

Well, I beliv you reacted without really understanding my stand there. Probably, u may be thinking that I was against the proposed protest by the teachers. I was never against it. What I meant was, instead of government trying to find a solution to them, they will rather resort to making things more difficult for them.

With the way government behave towards private school, instead of seeing the good things they are doing in the society; trying to restore the decaying education system, they will be giving them stringent conditions that will make their operations difficult.

Start teaching online instead of waiting. A lot of teacher saw opportunity in this pandemic and have gone online by selling courses and other teaching Resources.

Teachers become entrepreneurs by selling classroom materials online.

Cease the opportunities!

Goodluck.
