It's a big fat lie to claim your dad bought econet line for 35k some 20 years ago. From where did he buy it? In which country? The first GSM operation in Nigeria started in August 2001; 19yrs ago not 20!!!!
Your dad cannot have been using gsm line in Nigeria a year before they commenced operations.
On technicalities, if you are wrong on the procurement time, why are you also not wrong on the cost?

Maybe Its not up to 20 years .A little less than that ,I guess...I can't really remember the year but I was still in Primary school then , and I'm way past 30 years now .
As for the price ,it was #35,000 .He had the receipt for quite a while (maybe he still does).
