Re: A Loving God by Nobody: 6:10am On Jul 16, 2020 |
Kobojunkie: Well next time your group can gang up and read and assimilate accordingly what an author writes.......at least then you'll answer something more reasonable....... I never said there's no benefit......... Seriously you nairaland theists are not as wise your folks in reality who drink Dettol or eat grass because their pastors recommended it..... Tchuss!!!! |
Re: A Loving God by Nobody: 6:13am On Jul 16, 2020 |
LordReed: I opened this thread so as to hear from reasonable Christians and other people, but these so called Christians are proves why Boko Haram and ISIS are still trending today...... One thing about them is that they love to dodge whatever was thrown at them.....they have no reasonable answer to explain why an almighty and loving God made those innocent children die and suffer...... They all skipped this part and started the ad hominen attack..... |
Re: A Loving God by Kobojunkie: 6:15am On Jul 16, 2020 |
Xavfra:I already responded earlier as far as the OP is concerned. Xavfra:You call an idea which only exists in your mind a benefit? Xavfra:I don't have a pastor, sorry! I do eat grass though! it is healthy stuff |
Re: A Loving God by Nobody: 6:24am On Jul 16, 2020 |
Kobojunkie: You've been trying to play smart liberal Christian.... LMAOooooo Sir! Don't try to avoid what your Bible says..... Don't implore new strategies....they won't work..... Well, humanism exists in reality unlike your God that exists in fabricated lies ....... |
Re: A Loving God by Kobojunkie: 6:29am On Jul 16, 2020 |
Xavfra:Playing smart with you? Is it possible to think too highly of yourself there? Xavfra:What the Bible said has not changed in over 2000 years. How can anyone avoid it? New strategies as far as debates over the existence of God is concerned? Xavfra:Well, Ok. You don't believe He is. For the umpteenth time, I get it. So? |
Re: A Loving God by Nobody: 6:36am On Jul 16, 2020 |
Kobojunkie: As someone said, tell a lie many times and it begins to seem as though it is the truth.... Well you think I feel highly of myself... Well your brain is yours |

Xavfra: hoo hoo! No one embarks on a quest for nothing (except that we have seen people do such foolishness and oh, it was a painful sight to see. Back to my statement). And he who has found what he is looking for, Always brings his quest to an end, and returns home in peace. And we have put your tôpick in the Dustbin, for we have answered you with the Truth, but you are searching another answer, Seeing that your answer has fallen and does not Stand at all. So you search on The Truth of the Lord Standeth Forever and no Soul can Change it! |
Re: A Loving God by Dtruthspeaker: 7:34am On Jul 16, 2020 |
Xavfra: And we have supplied that the Reasonable Answer to Your Shitty thread, is That, it is Your Evil Brothers Who Are Doing All the Killings BECAUSE You Refused to Listen to the Lord who said "Kill the killers and Wicked People in your midst!" But No, you did not! You are more Right and Righteous than God, so you let them go. Now, they kill you! It is as simple as that! |

[quote author=Maximus69 post=91735947]In his book (Bible) he made it clear that everyone living has the right to whatever they like but there are things that's going to hurt intelligent beings if care is not taken. That's why our freedom is relative not absolute! Though we have the freewill but once there are many other intelligent creatures around us there must be standards to keep things in order. God is not a bully so when his set of creatures on planet earth decided to reject his standards, he told them what will happen to them and how he's going to salvage the situation. What we're experiencing today is part of his ongoing process to correct the blunders of our first parents, but as humans with limited knowledge we tend to be in haste to see it all solved within few minutes after all he is the Almighty. We tend to forget so fast his rule of conduct ~ learn from experience Our first parents chose to learn the hard way instead of trusting his discretion and many around us today follow the mindset of our first parents, the only way out for obedient ones is to keep calm and watch how the all wise God will resolve the issue. He will never destroy anyone hastily but allow others to learn from their examples! [/quote In as much as i do not really agree with everything the OP said....but pls dont mention our first parent...wat do i have to do with Adam or Eve....Adam commited a sin since over several millions years ago and i will be paying for it ?.Am i adam or is adam me?...pls dont say such ago 1 Like |

Xavfra: I don't know what you mean by the term "theists", but one thing is certain "Sincere and honest individuals will humbly learn from those to whom the understanding has been given" that's why the young man from Nazareth whom most religionists keep shouting his name said "go in search of the lost sheep of the house of Israel" Meaning even those who will learn have certain attributes that the messengers sent must observe. So if you're not of the sheep there is no way you can get the sense in this because you'll be too anxious than those we were sent to teach. Go and study the domestic pets called "sheep", if you detests it's attributes, then you can never see any sense in the things having to do with God! |

hakeem4:Hold what type of ideology? hakeem4:Mother Teresa was a lying thiefing Albanian dwarf? As for suffering being from God, it depends on what she meant by it. |

hakeem4:Well, then that is her opinion, and those who allowed her impose such views on them, well, sigh! Anyway, yes, suffering does God from God but so does Joy, peace, plenty... At least it says so in the book. That does not mean every delusion and opinion had about these things are also from Him.... also in the book. |

hakeem4: The late Christopher Hitchens ripped her to shreds in his book. Mother Theresa was a devil. She let lots of people suffer and die because she erroneously believed it was the only way for them to be closer to god. And the catholic church cannonized her for it. 1 Like |
