What happened at the end? Did you stay or leave? Did HR take action on documented issues or not? Were you reassigned to another unit?

At a point, I reported at HR at the advice of my group Head thinking he held the ace and pronto, HR changed my unit. Next I knew, my Unit Head was at HR and was told she can't meet with the Head of HR till 2pm. My Group Head came, ranted and threatened that I will be fired. Told my Divisional Director he was only managing me and that one told me that he also can manage me. Guess what, following year, I won an award and became the superstar I ought to be.

I later left the organization after another two years for graduate studies as that had always been on my mind.

i see no reason why your boss and colleagues will hate you at the same time except if you are lazy or complains or give excuses too much and dont meet up as expected if not why will your boss hate you and love others. Guy, I know exactly how u feel.
i've bn on dt road b4, with a very fat pay (6 figures) as a teacher.

I got so exasperated dt my 'happy days' were d days I receive alert and 3-4 days after dt. It was a real battle for my sanity. Las-las, I left sha, though my input were really missed.

On my own now with a lesser pay but with a lot of joy.

I'll just advice u to try hol small something b4 u take d plunge.

Since you didn't give enough details to understand your lost if interest in the job, you can chose out of this two things

It's either you continue with the job, save money and plan what to do with it

The reason here is incompetency. N that is why it seems everyone in the organization is not comfortable with your existence in the job. Bro work on your self and you will automatically gain respect and love from your boss.

There is always a price to pay for a better life. You may not like where you work but it fetches you all you want. It could also fetch you and your kids a secured and purposeful future if you can endure, work to change things you can and accept what you cannot change. Everything in life must not go your way even though we have a picture perfect of how our lives should be.

Please, don't quit yet, I will advice you seat down and observe the whole situation around you, it might be a situation you took above your job that made you loose concentration which result that your colleagues think you are incompetent, that made your boss not to like you, because there is no way your boss will like you the way you handle your job.
-Update yourself in relevant aspect you think you need improvement.
-Don't feel too big, ask questions from those you think knows it better than you.
-Be motivated from within, have the right thinking towards your job.
-Don't be pessimistic, who told you, you can not be the best staff?

Check yourself very well if there is anything you are not doing right.

I was in this same predicament some years back...I hated the job and hated everyone around me then and it affected my health a lot.

As time went on,I got another job with a low pay compared to what I used to earn and today,I am fulfilled and now I know why money alone does not make one fulfilled in life.
