Again, you still don't get it. The nukes will need to travel several thousand miles, passing many layers of us antimissles. that's assuming the missiles can even make the journey to US. US Nukes are already close to this countries. Us Nukes would travel about 70% less journey to reach them with more modern technology.

You still don't get it. Russia do not have the capability to hit US mainland. Even if they do its gonna be so minimal. Whereas the US Nuclear capable warships are sprinkled all around Europe close to Russia. There is a lot of missle defense buffer all around Europe and the US itself. Even US ground soldiers are in Europe so close to Russia incase any groud assault is needed.

Current leaders of NATO member nations are cowards, they lack the willpower and courage to use their strength and might.
