It’s pathetic how the issue was handled but at the same time he wasn’t supposed to kill anyone.

It’s a very sad and unfortunate incident. The Nigeria Army have a lot of work to do regarding the mental health and welfare of it’s personnel.

We read about and hear of gross abuse and misappropriation of fund meant for the fight against insurgency in the North East Nigeria but it seems not much is being done to address the issues.
Top military officers have complained, those in the lower cadre have made videos and audios to voice out their frustrations but all these seem to fell on deaf ears. Instead of efforts to address and prevent the reoccurrence of such disaffections, those who complained have been arrested and detained.

This isn’t the first time someone would lose his mind and vent his frustrations on another colleague and it definitely won’t be the last if the existing structures which hampers the efforts of the soldiers are permitted to continue.

I feel sad for those unfortunate men being used as pawns by corrupt military officers and the politicians involved in this evil.
