That road is and should be TOP priority because of the impending mass movement of workforce, goods and services, industrial activities and industrial products.

Sensible governments must set priorities based on necessities and contingencies.

Good roads in that axis is and should be the state's Number One priority and the massive IGR from the looming business and industrial activities in that axis goes into the general funds needed to build more roads and general infrastructures in the mainland and the rest of Lagos.

For many decades to come, Lekki is destined to be Lagos state's cash cow and golden goose with the golden eggs.

In 2016, I shared this post on the proposed Fourth Mainland Bridge and the likely affected areas.

Someone asked me yesternight "Where will the 4th Mainland bridge pass?" "Which part of Ajah/BADORE will be affected?"

Here's my thought:

For minimal damage and prevention of economic loss, I foresee the 4th mainland bridge coming from somewhere between PAN African University and Happyland Estate or nearby location about 1km to either sides, passing through the undeveloped lands and govt lands around the area, avoiding Cooperative Villas, cutting through BADORE road between Folarin bus stop - Greenville estate or nearby about 500m to either sides and landing at langbasa and then over the lagoon to Ikorodu.

Anyone with a property around this areas should go and confirm with the local planning authority early enough the area for the proposed realignment early enough in order to avoid the story that touch.


Just my thought though. My hunch is never wrong and ongoing activities with that area and especially BADORE to somewhere between PAN African university and Splash Bar further confirms the truth.

Things to check for:

- Government excisions around the areas mentioned above
- Areas where govt refuses to give approvals, consents and CofO
- A large parcel of undeveloped govt land around you which was clearly avoided by the land urchins (Omo Onile)
- Areas with slow growth and development despite being at prime areas
- Too good to be true land transactions.

no be only compensation lol. The urban arrangement has already been planned like 40years ago lol. If they seek approval before building it wouldn't be there in the first place. Most of them would bribe an official to approve their plans because they believe in 50years time development may never come near them

Since 1999 lagos state has been destroying people properties burning markets but the problem still remains,they are acting like they dont know they problem ,if federal government dont put others ports in order lagos will continue to hel on earth,if you build one billion naira worth of house in lekki but you still stay in traffic 7 hours a day like ordinary poor Nigerians wetin you gain,orile to badagry is still there going 15 years

Omonile and Royal families approved the buildings.

Over 70% of houses in Lagos don’t have approved building Plans, I had an experience last week a friend was about to build and he said to us that he is waiting for his approved plan before he starts, and one of us said noo, he should start when people from LGA come he should give them 250k.

I said to him you have no C of O this building approval is the only legal document you have against State Government, their is a need to have it.
