Eko Atlantic being developed by Tinubu's business partner Chaugory when completed will rival these two cities.

That's why our problem will never be solved. People know what to do but wouldn't do it, especially when in government.

Tinubu was governor of Lagos for many years, and he can give you a million reasons why he didn't think of such projects while on office.

Now, his senses are back, though as a private enterprise.

I thought you said it was about town planning?

But now that you've conveniently moved the goalpost....

All those houses in Namibia you posted, are they not from looted Namibian wealth by white European invaders?

Didn't seem to have bothered you one bit.

Most of the estates are lieing empty without occupants.

That is a certifiable lie. Liar.

Private estates by the corrupt politicians and military generals have nothing to do with town planning. I did not post any private gated estate in Namibia or Windhoek.

Who can afford to buy all those houses on a civil servant salary, except if you're into bribery and corruption. Most of the houses are lieing empty.

Fake history professor again?
When did looting other people's properties begin to bother you?
After looting Igbo properties or before?
Abandoned property couldn't make you rich?

Come on will you shut up your lying little lips.

Was this not how you Nigeria - haters were claiming Shoprite was making a 'huge mistake' coming to Nigeria, as only ''corrupt politicians and military generals'' could afford to shop there?

That 99% of Nigerians were living on ''less than a dollar a day'', and could not afford to shop in malls?

I can pull up the threads from years back if need be.

Shoprite duly IGNORED you stupid, ignorant clowns, CAME into Nigeria, DID VERY WELL, with huge public demand, and are expanding with each passing day, building new outlets across the entire country, even in places like AWKA and NNEWI - mere villages a few years back!!!

So you can equally LIE today, and claim that only ''generals and corrupt politicians'' can afford to live in Abuja, despite its current population of 4 million.

Because you are of your father, the devil, who is a liar and the father of the lie.

The major difference is the sidewalks for pedestrian to walk on, which is absent in most Nigerian cities in the central business districts.

Botswana got indepedence in 1966, so their development cannot be attributed to the whites, but the visionary black leadership they had.

However, I can't say the same for Namibia, they got independence from South Africa in 1990.
white people never really leave Botswana the country is so peaceful their president na fire too, inshort Botswana is over fine, nigeria should stop showing the world the slums they called mega cities like almajiri infested kano state or sleep over night in traffic called Lagos

Rosskii...we need to emulate their town planning. Namibia development is spread across different cities.

The only developed city in Nigeria is Abuja. And yet it still does not have a sewage treatment plant, water plant, 24 hour electricity, hospitals the leaders can attend and universities the leaders can send their children to.

Abuja feeds on fantastical corruption. Majority of the money flowing is proceeds of corruption.

Namibia and Botswana should be an inspiration to the Niger Delta states who have nothing to show for their oil revenue. It is a shame Warri,Port Harcourt,Yenogoa,Benin City,Calabar and Uyo cannot compete with any cities in Namibia or Botswana in terms of infrastructure and town planning.

Today a 3storey building has been erected in that lane. Na who authorize am if not them?

Even when you enter their office they are all like merchant sometimes they will even tell you to pay into their account while they in turn pays Government

Nigerians cities should emulate the development of Gaborone and Francistown ,Botswana and Windhoek and Swakapmond in Namibia.

Botswana: Gaborone and Francistown

You preaching to the choir because the people who have the power to remodel Nigerian cities to what I am seeing in these pictures are our politicians. And they are neither on Nairaland nor have any interest in developing Nigeria. They joined politics for one reason only and that is to enrich themselves and their families with Nigeria's money.
