The funny thing is that those people who hate Messi are now begging him to come to their team. Go on Twitter and see how man utd fans are screaming at Woodward to get him, even Chelsea fans and Madrid fans are begging him to consider him. No transfer has ever created this kinda buzz. Now who is truly the goat . We all know who the goat is but sentiments no let us gree
The fact that most clubs want him doesn't make him the goat. If Harry kane becomes available, most clubs will want him too

Messi leaving the club will be the end of Bartomeu's political career and the move will cause a major shake up at the Camp Nou, from the board down to the players and possibly janitors and ball boys.

The Camp Nou politics runs very deep and it is riddled with corruption the size of our own government. Messi, seeking to play away from Barcelona is probably the best for him but it won't solve the issue at the club.

Anyways, I have to be thankful... I can't wait to see a Messiless Barcelona run around the field while Eibar and Osasuna show them. grin

He can't leave just like that. His transfer fee is a huge burden
You think that's huge? This is Messi, the greatest footballer we're talking about. Do you know the package that comes with making such signings?
You think it's just all about football?
I can confidently tell you a good number of clubs will be ready to break the banks to sign him. Then you will know that amount is peanuts compared to what the club stands to benefit

Messi didn't score in 2015 final, so how was he the main protagonist??

Bro he said "he won four UCL titles of which in three he was the main protagonist" not four UCL finals. Yes, he didn't score in that 2015 final but if you watched that game and be honest with yourself, then you'd agree that he was very decisive in that win. Even Suarez's goal was a rebound of Messi's shot punched out by Buffon.

Its a fact that Barca has been a sinking ship lately however due to their strong propaganda machinery (media control) they have been white washing it. Had this terrible incident happened to Realmadrid, Le merengues would have been auctioned to the world & turned to a basketball team.
you're speaking base on sentiment, Madrid is bigger than Barca and will forever be, CR7 left and you guys thought it was over now with Messi and you guys are beginning to think
..

Get ready For next season Sevilla, huesca and the rest you humiliated with Messi are coming to massacre you.

Resist the urge, bro.

Why Ronaldo left isn't the problem. How is the focus here. Ronaldo would have been branded a failure if he left without winning three UCL trophies in a row or any at all. Recall Messi had bragged at the start of the season that the UCL is returning to the Camp Nou?

Question: Would Messi be fighting to leave if Barcelona won the Champions League? Would Messi be fighting to leave if the scoreline was just 0-2 and not 2-8? grin grin grin grin

Bayern Munich has no respect. If they were gentle with Barcelona, this episode won't be happening. But this isn't the first time Messi is running or quitting after losing. It isn't even the third sef grin
increase volume make them hear for back ooooo!!! That's the koko
Well Messi has that behavior, when times are rosy he will be hopping like rabbit but when the cards fall baba go run, He did it twice with Argentina grin, great player but vice goat.

You're a fool. Ronaldo was chased out of Madrid. He asked for a new contract but Perez refusedtyat he prefer to use the money for another player(chasing Neymar) which was a disrespect to Ronaldo. Despite pleas from Zidane to keep Ronaldo,Perez refused and Zidane left as well. He was receiving 365, 15 more than Bale. Messi and Neymar where receiving mega salaries (500) even Oscar, tevez and lavessi where receiving higher than Ronaldo. This has nothing to do with leadership.
Sanchez01:

Ronaldo left after back-to-back-to-back (3) Champions League trophies while Messi is leaving after a horrible 2-8 show. Messi is good, no doubt but definitely not half the leader Ronaldo or Ramos is.

It is one of the reasons he should leave because he has no business wearing the captain band but the politics won't make anyone admit it.

PSG has the right wages and stable Management........ but the don't have other attributes such as; the right coach, a well spelt out Vision, a club structure, a club philosophy etc

No true football fan wouldn't wanna see Messi in their club. Beefing is part of the game, you won't tell me you haven't been sentimental since you started watching football. I have seen fans criticize a player because he plays for a rival club, but once their club sign that player he becomes world best overnight. Lol

If there is a "man God" of football, his name will be Messi, because only a God can show Messi; even the name Messiah, starts with Messi, so am not surprised that people are calling for the sack of a president who is their own blood for the retainance of Messi.
Messi is to football what Michael Jackson is to pop music. There is no second best after Messi he is the only best (s).

Has anyone ever called for the sack of even an ordinary coach if Ronaldo decides to leave?? From Lisbon to man u to Madrid and to Juventus like ashawo when no de use condoms, they are just using him and passing him around like a pot of sacrifice

They should. It's probably the biggest transfer news in the history of football. The reason: many never dreamt of this moment in football.

La Liga clubs will patiently cherry pick Barcelona in the coming season grin

this won't make the biggest news, the biggest controversy I agree. he chose not to leave when the ovation was loudest hence this. his fans might not agree but truth is he's leaving camp nou more of a disgrace than hero.

Shut up..if you know nothing shut he Bleep up.....if juve has given him an improved contract from the one Madrid gave him then your assertion might make sense....he took a pay cut to join juve or do you think he is receiving more than he receive in Madrid at juve....
Ronaldo is not messI he not a coward,he always like to challenge himself that is why he left to a team like juve who is a step down from Madrid to help them win their most precious title(champions league)....
Ronaldo is too confident of himself that he is very good to help any team achieve their target while messi has no such confident.
its better you read and understand than throwing insults, dnt you think that even with accepting pay cuts he still earns €31 a year in juve and thats 3 times more than any seria a player and he would earn that for the next 4 years and its better than madrid dt he earns more than that for jus 2 years??
let me ask you, why didnt perez give him a new contract or why did he asked for an improve contract in madrid even when he knows that as he ia ageing his value keeps depreciating?? its all abt the business and its all abt money for cr7...

Because clubs knows he has pass his prime....no need to waste even £50 for an ageing player....no club will sign him watch as he get frustrated to china
So you think any Club can pay 700M on a Player even if he was 21 years old?
Where do you think they will pluck the money from?
Ronaldo in his whole career didn't cost 300M and you want a Club to pay 700M for a player?
And that is the idea with a buyout clause, they want to make it hard for any Club to buy their best players..
It seems you don't know much about the economic value of players..
Messi is a FRANCHISE PLAYER,his WORTH is much more than what he can deliver in the club..
Any Club, any Country will be GRATEFUL to have Messi GRACE their League and only the very best can dare to approach him..
And for your information,Messi wants to leave on a FREE,because their is a CLAUSE in his contract that allows that..

What are the things a Club stands to gain?
Messi is a GLOBAL ICON.
FRANCHISE player that TRANSCENDS the Sport of Football..
ANY club that buys him, buys GLOBAL PROMINENCE and RENOWN..
Any Club that buys him, buys economic wealth..
That is the privilege that comes with having the GREATEST OF ALL TIME in your Club..
Inter Milan.
PSG.
MAN CITY.
Chelsea.
These are the clubs that will fall over to have Messi GRACE their team..

Point of correction. Ronaldo didn't abandon Manchester United. His leaving d club was already on d table like two seasons b4. I believe it was Sir Alex who delayed him leaving as early as he wanted to
pls add CR7 didn't leave man Utd when we were down, plus he never abandoned Madrid when they were down, he never abandon Portugal when they were down, grin but Messi did it twice with Argentina, now about to serve barca da same medicine grin.

Stop sounding naive..
Nobody can afford Messi..
Barcelona do not want him to go and that is why they are insisting on his BUYOUT FEE.
Real Madrid were HAPPY to sell Ronaldo..
That is the DIFFERENCE..
The only way Messi can go is if he can trigger his free transfer clause..
