And who told you Jaja does not mean anything?
Jaja is an onomatopoeic word.

Onomatopoeia for what?

Weting concern me with your screenshots? I'm an Igbo man from Umuagbai in Aba South Local government areas of Abia State. But I've relocate to the North in search of greener pasture. The East is presently in recession, no money.

In things fall apart novel, Okonkwo called Ezimma her Ogbanje daughter, a wicked daughter of Akalogili.

Our ancestors met these Humanoids in the rainforest, and might have been responsible for their extinction.
But no one has done much research on them and we don't have enough stories about them preserved and passed down to us.

Key research area there. Unfortunately, Nigeria doesn't research anything.

There should be an ohaneze ndigbo for all igbo groups in the south-south region. It's primary aim should be to promote the igbo identity and unify all Igbos in the region and protect their interests.

By the sheer size of Igbos in south-south, they should be able to match any other group in that region, and stop being easy picks.

Current Ohaneze cannot do this from outside, because it'll be seen as an incursion into the politics of the region.

There's nothing like Igboid. Igbo is igbo, though with many clans.

Unfortunately this can not work. 2 Ohanaeze cannot exist. And Ohanaeze itself cannot exist freely in South South, because it is South South.

Who drew this map?

Wowwwwww. This map is ancient o. See Bonny is actually spelt Ubani and is designated as Igboland. But somebody here said it's called Ibani. See Ekpeye is called Ekpahia. This was in a time when Nigerian politics had not meddled into our affairs as a people.

loud it hahahahahaha. You guys should create 1,000 thread about Ijaws. We are not moved by Igbos propaganda. Concerning the matter, Jaja was sold to us. We groomed him and accultured him the same way Barack Obama became an American. Thereafter he had a quarrel with the Manillas and left to another nearby land to settle. Jaja went to Opobo with over 14 Bonny families. Ijaw nation knows their own and don't need Igbos validation. Ijaw is Igbos greatest nightmare in South South zone.
Opobo is originally called Ikot Abasi... Part of Ibibioland. Ibibio, Bonny-Ijaw and some Ibo slave elements like Jaja make up the Opobo ancestry. Jaja's father was a brutal slave trader and Walter Ofonagoro confirmed this too based on a bone-chilling 2017 NTA documentary and Jaja even went back to his Ibo village in Imo axis and built a house there. Bonny and Opobo were added to Iboland in the secessionist map below.

Did you just knew this? This is a known facts in the entire East NA. I'm an Igbo man from Aba and I knew this since I was a Kid. Peter Obi, Obiano, Charles Soludo, E-money, the owner of ÌNNOSSON Motors, Chris Ngige, Uba and all the wealthy men in Anambra are all Igalas. But the hungry and the average looking people in Anambra are from the neighbouring Eastern States.

Igbo Amaka,
Please tell us the meaning of "Soludo" in Igala language.
We are waiting. . . .

Igala own Anambra and what this means is that, Anambra will not be part of Biafra when the North finaly gives Biafra their independence. Biafra will only consist of the 4 Igbo States. Namely Imo, Ebonyi, Enugu and Abia States. grin grin grin

Judging from the culture of Opobo and ibani or bonny it looks like Jaja was the one that performed Igbo acculturization on you guys rather than the other way round. Speaking of tribalism the igbos are known not to take tribal disputes, that is why our son Onoja, the son of Eri and Oboli established Igala and was the first Attah of Igala.

A lot of people speak Ibo in Opobo but they do not consider themselves Ibos. The same way in Northern Nigeria, Hausa is the lingua Franca but calling non-Hausa Northerners Hausa is taking as an insult even though they understand and speak Hausa fluently.

On several Opobo Facebook pages there's been a renewed effort by Ijaw nationalists to rope in Opobo into the Ijaw fold and the people are not resisting. The people are been encouraged to do away with anything Igbo inclined in favor of Ijaw.

You Igbos are the reason we are gradually approaching the brink of extinction. Your misguided and myopic approach to Igbos history is the reason they now term us Meta-ethnicity. What's up with you guys and Jewish historical misconception? Now every rival ethnic group is now doing "bend down select" on Igbo clans. Don't just blame ijaw on this, the Golden rule of humanity is survival of the fittest, they are just trying to increase their chance of survival by claiming opobo, any reasonable group apart from ipob should have seen this coming. Now we are at identity war, from Benin at the west, igala at the North, now ijaw from the south and even yoruba from far away west is claiming one clan in Anioma Delta state all because IPOB out of myopic reasoning said that Igbos are lost jews and strangers in igboland

This is just a picture. Go to their page and see people who are bearing Igbo names tell you to your face they are Ijaw.
History is there to remind us of how Jaja became King in Opobo. My having English names doesn't make me from England.

You people complain when the Fulanis claim exclusive rights to Nigeria but here you are claiming another's territory.

I bet you, when all the residents/indigenous people of Balogun, Idumota, Alaba, etc start speaking Igbo and bearing Igbo names your people will declare war over Lagos state.

Opobo is Igbani land and Igbani is Ijaw!
