Pls what happens if someone gets a visiting visa on the platform to attend a wedding in the USA and after getting the visa , something comes up and the person is unable go attend that same wedding for which he got the 2 years visa. You can use it for later visits but primary reason for the visa is the wedding, try and use it for that purpose and avoid subsequent uncertainties. You are also asking these questions because if you are the immigration officer at POE you want to know why it was not used for the primary purpose. Acceptable reasons could be a serious personal medical issue or on immediate family member, death in the family, which can be proven with documents, and remember such documents from Nigeria are questionable. I won't bet on it, follow your original invitation timeline.

Thing is i didn't really like the way people were standing just to get a visa and the conversations were not private. That's not cool.
Like i said before, the USA can eat dust. There are other countries i can go and have fun and i won't even miss the US. I know majority of peeps in here just wanna go the d US for greener pasture. For me am going to the US to add my little kobos to their economy. (Pure tourism). so na both of us loose.
In about a week or two time i will post pictures of myself in a holiday place. I must enjoy myself irrespective of what d yankees feel.
To all those that will be approved, congrats in advance. For all those that will be wrongly rejected. Just locate another place n go have ur fun. Come back home and hustle on. Them no reach.

As for your observation at the embassy, I'd like to believe it's their jurisdiction, hence their rules, every country got theirs. Initially, i thought it was a little weird that my conversation with the VO wasn't private but I got over it.

We know you've got millions to spend and totally entitled to your opinions, however you should only speak for yourself and not conclude that majority of peeps in here are seeking for greener pastures outside. We all don't have to be making millions every month before taking a vacation, that's being ................ Don't carry out your refusal on everyone else in the forum bro

Meanwhile, @Tayoamos, unlike UK Visa, for the US, you don't have any problem atall for not travelling as earlier scheduled, you however may not even travel with the visa at all before it's expiration and still get it renewed without any hassle but that shouldn't be a norm as a repeat of it may lead to a refusal or delay in the subsequent application.

you can't retrieve your form and you might not be asked for the exact date you filled, you will most likely be asked how long you intend staying in the U.S but nothing is for sure though, the only alternative you have as regards the form is to fill a new one and call the embassy to update it for you if they can.
