Nnamdi Abana, your nonsense statement makes no sense. see your face like caw shit. I still don't understand why everyone seems to attack the church, pastors or the things related to the church of Jesus Christ. you voted buhari yet pointing your fingers at oyedepo for not giving palliative and so on. I have read a lot of posts and comments where a lot of people turned their back from the government and face the church and pastors. your problem should not be the church but the people you gave your vote that has failed you. pastors are responsible for their committed members, the government is responsible for people that elected them into power. Back to the topic, Mr Abani or whatever you call yourself, carry your cry to the court or to your president to stop the young man from being executed and to as well stop Sharia in this country. 1 Like 1 Share |

Comedian2019: The verses below punctures your argument. It clearly states blasphemers must be put to death. Leviticus 10-23; “10 Now an Israelite woman's son, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the people of Israel. And the Israelite woman's son and a man of Israel fought in the camp, 11 and the Israelite woman's son (A)blasphemed the (B)Name, and cursed. Then they (C)brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. 12 And (D)they put him in custody, (E)till the will of the Lord should be clear to them. 13 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 14 (F)“Bring out of the camp the one who cursed, and let all who heard him (G)lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him. 15 And speak to the people of Israel, saying, Whoever curses his God shall (H)bear his sin. 16 Whoever (I)blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.“ |

we Muslims don't joke with our prophet Muhammad, hence the tight secrecy about his physical features. And when a supposed Muslim who knows this decides to do other wise he/she should be ready to face the raw fact consequences. |

[ if at all you stayed of been to the north you will agree that CAN did that in the interest of it members ( the christians) living in the north a as an individual who grew up in the north I understand what CAN did, the writer should do well to know more about the way religious matters are handled in the north before his/her criticism.] http://saharareporters.com/2020/09/09/open-letter-christian-association-nigeria-will-leadership-can-escape-judgment-if-yahaya[/quote] |

George Orwell was right, when he depicted this level of human ignorance and manipulation with a novel called The Animal Farm. There is nothing else that encapsulates the Nigerian political and legal system. It is a zoo with different colors of animals operating in the disguise of the same species. How can Nigeria call itself a federation when the whole North practices different political and legal systems from the rest of the country? Bloody fools! Obviously, Nigeria cannot be a federation or a republic at all. This is because its federal constitution endorses civil rights and freedom of speech. Yet, a subset of it snatches them away from other citizens in a particular impoverish section of the country known as the Almighty Improverished North. The only backward region where religious and civil suppression are championed more than the Federation's constitutions. Take a good around other regions of Nigeria. Particularly the Yoruba states, there are Muslims there. However, Yoruba states observe the Federation so-called constitutions. You do not see the State of Lagos prosecuting its citizens using an archaic remnants of Arab barbarism called Sharia Law. No, instead you see the states with the rest of Southern States prosecuting according the federal laws. Since this is the environment, Igbo , Yoruba, Ijaw and other southern rappers can rap whatever they want. Jesus is teased. God is toasted. Sex is appreciated. Love is caricatured. Yet, the court of laws- both state and federal levels cannot infringe on these rights because they know what these federal laws are. And, they hold the fundamentals at high esteem although they screw up the rest. On the other hand, the Poor North with its ignorant Islamic-schooled sons of fatherless whores would rather condemn a singer to death than obey the same federal laws than hold all the states. Kinda makes you wonder whether they think themselves above the rest of the country? Come on. Think about it. Why would they sentence a singer to death for the so-called blasphemy of a dead Arabic prophet who has created so many Almajiri children and poverty in their midst? Let's forget the region's religious belief for an instant. What about the Nigerian constitution? Does it mean the region does not recognize it? If yes, then why are they still part of us? Obviously, the other Nigerian regions CANNOT sentence a citizen to death just because they sang about their perspective of God. Our Federal laws cannot allow the state courts to do that. So why the special privilege granted to the Impoverished North? This Northern stance in Nigeria has severe repercussion. Y'all do not see this the way I do. Think about it. Does it mean that a Yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw, Efik, Anang or other citizens can be sentence to death in the Impoverished Northern States for expressing their perspective of God?? If yes, then can the states of the citizens retaliate against the Northern states for breaking federal laws that protect each state's citizen? If no, won't that tell you now that Northern Nigeria is a different country from the rest of us? I mean once you cross into that dung hole, you are subjected to their own Archaic laws which are not bounded by Federal laws. As a result, it warrants the thoughts of non-inclusive into the Federation since federation citizens are subjected different laws once they cross into the Impoverished region. Let's talk about this, shall we? I'd like to hear your perspectives, animals of the raging zoo. 1 Like |

The CAN chairman understands the terrain of Kano state, the writer doesn't. The request for the CAN's view of the judgement is a subtle trap to turn the whole problem on Christians in Kano. If the musician should be released through the appeal after CAN has solicited for it, then CAN is held responsible and churches and Christians face unchecked attacks immediately. The CAN chairman knows this and he gave them the political answer. Remember when they brought the tax issue to Jesus. He clearly said that as natives they were not expected to pay tax, but not to make them angry... So I believe the CAN's chairman's response is 'not to make them angry'. If the writer thinks otherwise, he should go on Ibrahim Taiwo road in Kano and carry a placard requesting for the Musician to be freed, he will not live to explain the attacks. Kano is not a place of intellectual reasoning, it is a place of survival reasoning |

the ability of Christian not fighting does not mean we are not strong, just that we are not ready to embark on a civil war, do the Muslim if a civil war break out in nigeria, they will win, dont forget one region of the Christian clan hold 2 clan for 3years not to talk of now. i cant imagine what will happen........it time the muslim start giving the Christian the respect they deserve. because religious war or crisis is no win fight, the earlier the better before something will spoil

Samunique: Show me the contradictions? My point is that those laws are meant to be fulfilled by Christians who believe in Jesus and the bible. To start saying the laws were meant only for Jews is wrong. Because Jesus never said so. |
