Who doesn't know that FSARS does not even chases armed robbers anymore, they only know how to harass and embarrass innocent hard working Nigerians pursuing their legitimate hustle. I've lost count of innocent citizens that have been roughandled by the useless SARS operatives. Besides what's d duty of regular police officers if they can't confront and combat armed robbers,or are they only trained to carry bags and umbrellas for the political elites alone? undecided

Okiro could not have said it better. SARS should be restructured and rebranded. Outright banning of the Organization will do more harm than good. Many criminals, robbers especially will have a free day to operate.
They have been rebranded many a times and its still same shit. Is kidnapping, armed robbery and other related vices not on the increase even with all the rebranding? Lets go back to the regular police. They can be trained to do a better job. Not those broad daylight armed robbers.

ARMED ROBBERS frustrated me until Family and Friends started avoiding me.
They felt they could be robbed if they joined me in my residence or any vehicle I was traveling in.
I hurriedly left because I felt like an alien in my country.

Ordinary small play that armed robbers showed you all during the lockdown, you all run to the police. Now you're asking the police to dissolve it's special anti robbery squad (SARS) instead of asking for a total reform.

I pity travellers and banks (reason no corporate institution is talking about #EndSARS).

Even in UK or US, there are special squad that are summoned once there are serious case of armed robbery, gun related violence. Get this facts clear. SARs was doing a great job before they delved into yahoo yahoo things. I seriously think they should be reformed instead because the officers are not fired. They are still in the force, nothing changes as far as am concerned.

Reforming the entire police is the way to go.

Those on black uniform are collecting N100 from travellers. Those on cult uniform (SARS) are terrorising both the innocent and suspected criminals. All belong to the same organisation.

I find it Difficult trusting someone especially a Nigerian.
I have always been reluctant to respond to Emails from some Nairalanders, simply because I TRUST NO ONE.
I don't even trust myself.

We have lots of CRIMES going on In Nigeria.
....BANNING SARS wouldn't in any way help because most of them are established Armed Robbers.
All they need to do is to revert to their PART TIME JOB and make it a FULL TIME job.

lol, Nigeria generally needs reformed. In fact, it is so rare to find a honest Nigerian. I mean, so rare. It is that bad. People selling fake products up and down at the market. A guy sold fake product to me recently, I felt so bad. 160k used to buy fake product.

I fear who no fear Nigerians. We need total reform. In fact, we need a new campaign from pry nursery classes that teach our kids honesty, dedication, discipline and hardwork. While I know SARS has some bad and really bad officers, even yahoo yahoo boys follow dey shout make we ban SARS.

I mean, if u see the way yahoo boys now move with confidence, in fact, people no longer hide it. People are even proud to say that they are G boys. It is becoming a swag identity!
