I love this.

Most people don't understand once you destroy things during protest, you are indirectly taking away your right.

Some people will say it ìs their constitutional right to protest, yes it is but also know that destruction, blocking of roads and airports, burning down buildings, and occupying Government buildings is no more a protest again but a coup.
You see why i call you foolish. During elections, these same hoodlums are used to cause havoc. Have the govt said no elections henceforth because of them. Stop being foolish. Emancipate yourself from mental slavery. Dont force the curse on you to be transfered to your generations

Police or Lagosians: who owns Lagos?

Lagosians, of course.

Police and other armed forces on the roadblocks are protecting the skewed and lopsided political structure created by northern Nigeria through its military dictators. The political structure and governance system make southerners to become onlookers to north in Nigeria’s political process.

Police and Armed forces do not mount roadblocks in normal countries.

Citizens embark on protest against a political establishment without police encumbrances.

Restructure Nigeria politically now, Or Split Nigeria in a referendum over Nigeria.

You can’t have a George Orwell’s Animal Farm as a country, Nigeria, far much longer, no matter how much the lopsided political structure and dysfunctional governance system favor you.

They are terrorists and should be treated as such.

When you attack people and burn down occupied buildings, that is not protesting or even rioting, that's terrorism and that's how bokoharam started.

Protests are a dead end in Nigeria as we have seen.

Time to start planning for 2023.

Organise and reach out to the grassroots.

Same police that is constitutionally empowered to protect peaceful protesters while arresting miscreants? No tyranny have ever succeed against the resolve of a determined people. #EndSARS will be a child's play when another uprising will spring up.

This upcoming protest will be #endwhat?

Police, you can always invite your military colleagues and wait for Sanwo-Olu's order to mow protesters down, then prevent emergency care services from gaining access and quickly remove corpses to a secrete location or mass bury them.

The MO is standard by now, Abi?

Your comeuppance is ahead of you.

Indirectly, you are telling us that whether we face hell or even worst than hell, we should enjoy it because we are in this world to suffer.

If the wicked politicians can campaign to get our votes, why can't we protest when they ain't doing what they promised?

A time will come, and it's soon, that we will all be so lawless and no amount of force that stop us because our politicians have failed us in all round. They will be begging everyone to be law abiding citizens but none would listen because no one, even their families, can trust them again

If they were sincere about our safety the thugs that attacked protesters should be arrested and paraded like they usually do for petty crooks. We know their faces and names yet the thugs and the people who sent them haven't been punished yet.

How dare they say we shouldn't protest. Bad leadership is the reason for protest. Does it show we have good leadership.

Nigeria is not a normal country and no one is trying to do what is right, but cause chaos.

Only one thing can solve Nigeria's problem and that is total devolution of power to the regions but no one is talking about that, so it's all noise.

[s][/s]Are you in this nation when the same government brought thugs, miscreants, hooligans & hoodlums in trucks/pardo jeeps in Abuja and Lagos to assault peaceful protesters & hijacked the whole thing?

Haven't you seen pro-govt penny wise pound foolish protesters who can do anything for peanuts? Until these issues are settled, the government have no hiding place. "Emancipation from mental slavery, none but us could free our minds...." -Rastaman Bob Nesta Marley
u dey answer the guy? He is living comfortably so he can come online and say this stuffs he is saying.

Ppl like him are whi gets me mad. Thugs and politicians won't allow us have peaceful and credible election, they have succeeded in muting media houses with fear next is social media bill and now saying don't protest.

So where is the medium for ppl to air their grievances? And someone is talking abt blocking road hoodlums bla bla bla, is it not the police job to ensure peaceful protest? Do the police know their role during a protest? We saw Nigerians protesting abroad now, another man country and the police were still there to control and keep the calm.
