If you truly love a man with or without knowledge of his financial status, you won't and shouldn't be distracted. And your focus on him should not be based on money but based on his kind of person. That's fake love or better put "lust".

Once you flaunt wealth, whether fake or real. Girls will flock around you (even when you're not giving them the money). Most of them are in a serious relationship with someone that cares, but they're very willing to leave and cheat on him simply because you seem to be richer.
