Nigerians are funny, and NL shows how foolish a lot of people can be. Let us not take out objectivity in our criticism and play so much to the gallery.

Politicians are known to use every means to try to achieve political gains and this is just one of them. Buhari going to the stadium is a political stunt. This does not really mean he is more humbly than GEJ. Before you jump to the conclusion that I am a PDP/GEJ supporter, I am against the PDP, but you must admit that the performance of individual politicians is not based on the party but mostly on the individual. Just as the ACN is doing well in some states, so also some PDP Governors are doing well.

Please, weda you like GEJ or not, it is not proper you call him a silly man as some people have been doing in this forum, he is a sitting President and we must show him some respect. When you insult him, it shows that your upbringing is somehow faulty.

In Nigeria we have as misconstrued way of judging strength. When somebody insults you, the first reaction is always to fight back, when you don't do that, people call you a fool or a weakling. But it takes greater strength to stay calm under extreme provocation than to react.

GEJ recently sacked a principal member of his campaign team for insulting Buhari and Ribadu, but can Ribadu/Buhari do same.

WORDS OF WISDOM. HMMM.

Its less than 3 weeks to the election so what is the big deal if he is in the stands watching the Super Eagles play?? And as someone has correctly pointed out he sat in the V.I.P stands too abi which popular stand for Naija stadium go get arm-rest with space to put your drinks in? Anyways awa oo ko yen je jare

If only he had watched other matches B4 declaring his presidential ambitions, then maybe we would have chosen to be gullible and believe him. The way I see it, this was an EPICALLY FAILED attempt at being recognized as an "interested" leader. EPIC FAIL!

The worst ignorance is when you do not know, and you dont even know that you do not know. Every culture, religion and civilised society demands that we respect constituted authority. When you call your president a silly man you are being disrespectful not only to the President who is the highest constituted authority in Nigeria today but also to Nigeria as a nation. It takes only a fool to do such a thing and even tries to justify it.

That you dont like GEJ is not enough reason for you to insult Nigeria and Nigerians by calling our president a Silly Man.  you are indeed the most silly person in the world if you must know.

Please try and be a little civil.

This is the greatest idi*tic post i have ever seen on nairaland. Its obvious you are definately thinking from your an*s if not you wont be yarning all those dusts above.
O yes i called GEJ a foolish person and so what angry u had the guts to call me such and you think GEJ shouldnt be called such, why? does he have 2 heads? I respect the office no doubt but the person occupying that post epitomes what the thieving party can give which is GEJ. i am in no way insulting my fellow Nigerians

ok tell me, is it not a foolish person that

1) will call IBB his father
2) surrounds himself with thieves, criminals, crooks and their likes
3) sends a FG delegation to receive an ex-convict
4) called leaders of a region rascals
5) either attends a Koko debate or decides to debate alone based on todays dalies. (is that not an act of malady? Ode buruku i hope this wont be so, am on the lookout)
6) emptied our external reserves with nothin to show for it
7) will work behind the scene to bring back ibori etc.

Like i said earlier, a lot has been discussed on this forum as far as these issues are concerned but like some1 has stated, it seems as if u a newbie (and probably Beaf in another form).
I dont know what PDP has cooked inside you for you to think that your best bet is to continue to lick their balls. You so mucch believe in them and i pray that your life and lives of generations after you will be ran (governed) in the same way PDP has governed this country all these years you piece of excreta

Let me help you  cool

I remember he was the first Nigerian President to welcome and celebrate an ex-convict (Bode George)

I remember he once said IBB was responsible for abuja bomb blast and later called IBB his mentor and father

I remember Yaradua left about 30b USD in the excess crude oil account and it's almost empty now

I also remember Alamiesegha left billions of naira in bayelsa state account when he was impeached, but was all squandered

I remember Nigeria has experienced more bomb blasts during his one year rule than never b4

I also remember he was the first Nigerian president that was scared of Turai   cheesy

He is also the first President in the world to participate in the  "koko" mansion  grin  grin

Do you want me to continue,   cool

We remember

Can someone tell us where Dokpesi is?

What of the Independent Bomb Blast?

What of a President who became spokesman for MEND

Or one who said the solution to crime is for criminals to confess?

I have been seeing mumus but Odechukwu, Abdulclueless RETARDeen Jonathan is a special breed

Having taken my time to read through all the posts in the last 6 pages not because I am jobless but because i really wanted to see or understand the strong arguements of the anti Buhari/8akara ticket. As i have seen there has been no new point safe age, military background and cheap propaganda. For the records, people in advance counties of the world delibrately enlist in the army to get the best of leardership and disciplinary skills. That been said, Buhari went to the stadium to watch a football game and all pro GEJ suddenly lost their peace. He went there without police escorts that he is legally entiled to and any press stunt. The pictures of his presence at the game was taken by ordinary Nigerians who were also there to watch the game. As a Nigerian who pays my tax every month, I do not want to morgage the next four years of my life. I will vote for the development of Nigeria. BB all the way.

Good Luck will definitely win. There would ofcourse be no free and fair elections especially in the presidential level. Even if there is, Goodluck will still win. So the best thing you helpless guys should do is to support Jonathan and help him change Nigeria. Your rantings and criticisms against him can not solve any problem but may even give you high blood pressure, stroke or probably lead you to suicide.

Apparently your understanding of security is the ease with which individuals are able to go to the stadium to see football matches. Wonders shall never cease to occur. And you consider yourself a someone who passed through the 4 walls of a school abi? I blame you not sha, since we have a PhD wielding president who is unable to explain the simple term 'job security'!

If there is any qualified person in this country to rule is me and you. Why then are we talking so much about these people as if they have any good thing for us when they take over. If Buhari has been as good as he is trying to become these days, he would have rule this nation long ago. This is the man that went to Oyo North just because he heard that a fulani cattle rearer died only to be told how these fulanis have been killing their host community without any just cause and he went back without any good thing. He is a sectional leader and such is not ripe for this nation. For someone to voice out that this country will become like Libya if Buhari did not win is like the person is speaking from devilish mind because this nation is more wiser than a single entity. i don't belong to any political party and I have my mind focused on one candidate to be voted for this April.
Stop the politics of yesteryears in the millenium,

I was hoping to get a follow up to this stadium thingy.

Can anyone confirm if the humble general was at the stadium when Nigeria played the crucial final match that would have seen us qualify for the ongoing Nations' Cup tournament or any other Eagles' match after this one?

Or was the photo-op just shakara for the elections that were then due in a few weeks?
