The matter needs to be investigated at least to prevent other kids becoming a victim, if the allegations are true.

It could also be a psychiatric case. Sadly I have met people who come up with stories....some kids claim their father or mother wants to murder them...and these kids are genuinely convinced but it's all playing in their minds.
