So, in the two smaller cups mount on each other between cup 1 and 2, overflowing will occur and take longer time before it will forced/pressurised the cup on top to start shelving the liquid into cup 2. This is not the case for cup in between cup 3 and 4. Despite the overflowing that will occur in the mounted cups btw 1 and 2, the cup between 3 and 4 looks to have the same or even smaller capacity in comparison with the former before it will start shelving it's content into 4.

The jug for cup 2 is smaller but at higher altitude, while the jug for cup 4 is bigger and wider but at a lower altitude. We need to have the diffent heights and the sizes to determine this.

But this question relates to fluid mechanics.
by inspection the jug for cup 2 has higher altitude so fluid tend to flow at a fast rate due to the increase in pressure at high altitude.
The size of cup 2 is also smaller compared to cup 4 so fluid is faster at small size compared to bigger sizes.
Am open for any of your reasons.

Okay, lets create a mental picture. when you start pouring the the wine, the wine will be at the same level everywhere. what that means is that in all the pipes and cups it enters, it will still be on the same level. but when there is an opening (a pipe) the level of the wine will stop increasing everywhere until the container where that opening leads to has come to the same level as the others. then they will all start increasing together.
from what i just said now, when cup 4 is getting full, the level of the wine will stop rising in that small container between 1 and 2, till 4 is full, then it will continue rising.
so the answer is cup 4 then 3, 2 and lastly 1.

in the case of this problem, the pressure we are considering is atmospheric pressure. and atmospheric pressure increases with depth. that means the lower a point in the system, the higher the pressure at that point.

According to physics, the lower the height, the higher the pressure. Glass that is filling glass four has a lower opening thus making the water to gush out more from the side with glass 4.
Glass 1 & 2 have intermediate cup between them. It slows down the rate at which water will enter glass 1 & 2. Besides this, the opening of filler to glass 1 & 2 are more higher. Majority choosing 1&2 are wrong.
If u want to experiment this, get a tin of raid insecticide cut it's cap and fill it with water. Puncture 3 holes there vertically from top to down. You will discover the lowest hole will bring out more water compare to hole 1 & 2. The lower the height, the higher the pressure. The point with higher pressure deliver more water.
