I recently was made to reverify my Upwork account, the two options, QR code or via link sent to SMS, each of these still brings me to the original page, eg when I scan the QR code, I get a link that when I click, it brings me back to this page again and again and again, same with the SMS method, have tried different browsers both on laptop and mobile, same outcome. need advice

Download the Upwork mobile app and login into your account along side a PC and use that one as a verification option. That was how I did mine

Omoh, work dey for u o but u can try LR - it's a more professional website than Upwork, Fiverr and the likes, na ur ability to work depends on how versatile u r. Tasks get listed for u to do, unlike Upwork where u go dey fight for work

Getting clients through Upwork has been hard, also do I need my availability badge to be on after sending proposal & be online to considered.

Personally, I haven't seen any difference with the availability badge toggled on or off. Though I turn it on once in a while just incase.

I hope you write your proposals from scratch and not with a template? Send as many proposals as you can afford and ALWAYS include links to past projects in your proposals. Try these tips. They work for me.

I feel it just wastes my connect cause I was on about 160, I have just sent one proposal that was viewed by the client and it was about 12 connects, now it is on about 130 something left.

I don't use templates oo, This proposal thing is just something I haven't hacked there was this one job I saw that was posted in like 1 mins, I farabale write the proposal detailling the whole service process I took about over 10 mins, I just said I should refresh the job before sending it was now on 10 - 20 proposals and the guy is already interviewing 2 already I was in shock.

Since then I just gave everything a break this night I will send some sha, cause I only even apply to entry-level anyways.

Was The 160 Connects bought or accumulated. I was lucky to get my first Upwork job last month and the client happily dropped a 5 Star Review. Am hunting my second now so that I can be eligible for job success score. Have you tried that chrome plugin I dropped above that automates the job submission on Upwork.
