Oga we must leave in peace. I base in ibadan and I am from the north. We have yoruba in the north in fact my former HOD, Dean and many of my lecturers were yorubas. So should we go and attack them because they are from west?
Why can't you fish out those causing the problems and make them face the law.
Remember when we return to the the maker our judgements will not be base on our region or race but how we live our lives here on earth.

Correct!

I have just woken up to the tragic news of the killing of my secondary school classmate Jamilu Tanko Ibrahim. He was a trailer driver who, until his untimely death, had been transporting goods from North to South especially to Lagos. He was lynched and left to roast in his trailer that was set ablaze by rampaging youths who attacked Shasha Market. His charred body was retrieved yesternight. The problem with this kind of crisis is as long as you are from northern Nigeria, you are Hausa or Fulani. You are a target even if you are a Christian. A Christian from Michika local government area of Adamawa state was hacked to death in Osun when Sunday Ighoro's crusade gathered pace few weeks ago.

Targeting innocent people who left their comfort zones to cater for their families is an invitation to anarchy. I am sure a vast majority of Igbo and Yoruba are peace loving people for their millions of their fellow relatives in northern Nigeria who are doing well in business and civil service. But the way Nnamdi Kanu and Ighoro are playing to people's sentiments and going extra miles as to incite their unruly youths into attacking innocent people, killing and maiming on the pretext of warding off the Fulani invasion of their land, mark my words, Arewa is a dangerous place for retaliation, and I only hope peace will reign.

Sorry for the loss of yiur friend but don't expect the South to just keep quiet over the impunities and atrocities committed by these Herdsmen over these years in the South, none of your governors have come out to speak against it or do something about it even the President who is a Fulani has never condemned any of these evil acts done by these Fulanis, Southerners are no longer happy, you can't come to my house to destroy my farm, Kill and rape my people and expect me to be happy... It's unfortunate that it's the innocent ones that will be affected when reprisal attack happens. Sorry for the loss of your friend once again

Did you read the piece at all, there's no cow in this matter.
Anyway it's a matter of giving a dog a bad name so to hang it.
This is highly condemnable, totally wrong.
Am looking at the root cause of the issue, yes all Nigerians can live anywhere, but the problem need to be solved, we all know what the problems are, and the worst part is kidnappers blending in as herders, kidnapping, killing etc, When open grazing is banned, then forest guards will ensure no one goes into the jungle/forests, and occupy lands illegally, it is a security breach and illegal, no state law condones illegal occupation. Let us do things the right way, and face the truth, sentiments and bigotry will take us nowhere. FG should ban open grazing, cow meat is not a national strategic product or need, we have alternatives, let the serious meat business men build ranches.

Witnesses said the crisis erupted on Thursday when a porter carrying a basket of tomato inadvertently nudged a Yoruba woman. The woman allegedly retaliated and organised a group of Yoruba thugs to avenge.

Similar case that caused another Jos religious crisis back then, the whole city turned bloody the next thing we hard was Kano is on fire, next Bauchi and so on , we should be careful cos the way this issue is going I don't know.....

This a very simple issue" sorry madam" pls I no see you, and the woman in her will like sorry my foot, continue her way and move on.

They have turned the situation to this, I knew it was gonna come to that. And I thought it's all about the dreaded Fulani gunmen .

all the online warriors should just avoid that word,’war’. Meanwhile, in a situation like this, amotekun should try mediation and not taking sides to avoid being profiled a tribal militia group

all what is written up there is a pure and blatant lie. I am residing around that area. those Hausa guys were the first to start the attack

Sorry I thought you are reasonable to understand the point I am making.

I actually thought the problem is to clean all your farm land from herdsmen terrorizing the western part.
Now it has gotten to all the northerners in the west.
Does northerners selling cucumber, carrot, beans, rice, tomatoes and other foods stuff graze your land too?
With your myopic sense how will you get what I am saying?

You're very stup.id for what you just typed.
Who do,you think you're having a conversation with?
Your fellow illiterate almajiri?

So the Hausa trader that stab the woman and the guy in Ibadan market, the guy is herdsmen abi?

Who,doesn't know an average Hausa man carries dagger everywhere and is also prone to violence

You guys are just parasite to the south with your 1430 backward thinking faculty and IQ going in a negative way.

They want to set the country on fire. That is their intentions.

Hmm it would appear that the Country had been on fire for ages but the past govt had a way of using water

the main problem is we now have a govt dat instead of using water they decide to add fuel

in all dis I fear for my people d most bcus if a reprisal attack is launched in the north the average northern do not care to segregate Igbo or yoruba even mb is not spared

before you see 1 yoruba man in the north you must have met 5 Igbo man

my people I know it's hard but consider relocating from the North now that you can

it's hard very hard but it's necessity call

When I told my fellow Northerners that the entire North is the target, not Fulani, them sey na lie. You see?

See eh, those guys believe all Northerners are the same. Back then in school, na Aboki them dey call all Northerners, whether you be Idoma, Igala, or any tribe as far na Northerner you be, you be Aboki.

grin

So I am appealing to all Northerners in the SW to be careful or come back home. Those guys are looking for ways to loot your business. As EndSars no work, they are exploring creative ways to loot. So make una be careful.

May God help Nigeria.

Shebi una see? Please Northerners be careful. Apart from fear of being used for ritual, there's also the risk of unprovoked attacks by hoodlums. Please don't go out late. Always walk in group and protect yourself. If you can't protect yourself, please come back home. It's not worth it.

God bless Nigeria.

Call the terrorists and killer herdsmen to leave the bush and come back home. undecided

Violence is the product of a failure of communication between diverse interests in any relationship be it between spouses, business partners or ethnic nationalities.

Why can't Nigerians simply sit down round a table and negotiate our their differences and find common grounds on their interests. Why have we found ourselves in a sitiatuon whereby we tolerate the deliberate weakening and discrediting of the Legislature.

Why can't this country be restructured to keep her on an even keel. How many more people must die, be sacrificed to the gods of discord and division.
