LutanFyah:Thank you so much for being somewhat civilised in your approach, please i want to know more about your legal tender bit coin, the most popular one, apart from block chain balderdash, who issues it ?, who regulates it? when will that beautiful coin leave wallet which is one quality of money? Can you count how many cryptos we have as at today? Please I'll be very happy if you go even beyond these questions to educate me on this, who knows maybe i can start buying and storing. Thanks. 1 Like |

Plusstreet:I'm not an expert but I can attempt your questions. Satoshi Nakamoto developed the bitcoin. Nobody regulates it but it can be traded on a centralised (where transactions can be regulated)and decentralized exchanges. I don't have the data cos I'm not Satoshi but Bitcoin like most cryptocurrencies has a limit that can be mined,so you can get that information doing some research cos it's not a secret. You can sell your Bitcoins on exchanges like Binance, Paxful, etc. There are thousands of people ready to buy from you and give you cash. |

Crypt I currencies may well be the future, but no government will allow it take over it's economy without adequate security and check. At the moment, its too speculative. If Nigeria is trading $65 million monthly at this stage, money laundering and other illegal activities are involved. 1 Like |

The level of ignorance here is appalling! Little wonder poverty is very high amongst Nigerian youths. Some people are asking if Bitcoin can be mined. Geez! Do you guys live under rocks or caves? Let me help you ignorant lots. There is a web browser called Cryptotab, you can mine Bitcoin through this browser and transfer the proceed to a wallet. I have mined $500 worth of Bitcoin through this means and cashed out in Naira. The internet is the greatest gift to our generation and crypto is the new wealth transfer mechanism, don't die in ignorance and poverty! 5 Likes |

If you're smart enough then you'd know that the ban of bitcoin in Nigeria is not an issue. I still trade on bitcoin, sell it and get my money at ease. It's not a must you go use all these crypto companies wey their name dey embedded on the transactions and if u wan fund, look for companies that accept Skrill or paypal |

LutanFyah:Ok. But i learnt that after satochi, many are using the same block chain or similar technology to create and manage their own Cryptos which is expected. Assuming it is free to print 1000 naira notes, do you think we'll have less than a million money minting companies in Nigeria? Block chain technology will not remain a mystery forever, same way mirrors and bottles of schnapps did not continue as medium of exchange till today. Some things that just pop up illegitimately just needs sometime to disintegrate and that is what is happening with all these Cryptos springing up here and there. Someone is telling me we have about 345 Cryptos now (though i don't know if he added our own pink coin). My only advice is that we thread with caution so we don't get trapped or be used unknowingly as a tool to defraud others. Thanks. 4 Likes |
