The major businesses and industries to source raw materials from the petrochemical plant are mostly going to be southern businesses and industries

The Major beneficiaries of the IGR are going to be southerners

Hundreds of young Nigerian refinery engineers, mostly southerners were sent abroad for training in refinery operations free of charge.

All in all, the major and primary beneficiaries of this massive and historical inv3stment and industrial complex are southerners/

..but you failed to see the golden eggs and the huge economic advantage created by a Northerner right in front of you just because hatred, bitterness, and tribalism won't let you think and see straight.

When was the last time any of your rich billionaires or businessmen or women in the South gave you this kind of massive industrial and economic advantage in the South?

Last i checked, the laws of this country dont force you to buy from the Hausa Importer

You can buy cement from bua or Lafarge or you can buy petrol from the three other private refineries or diesel from the BUA refinery

Go to history of the world to a 1000 years back you'd understand. Once people own the nation they begin to sponsor and topple governments, wars etc. It's not right to let anyone upscale that much power to stop the world and nation from what it used to be. He can have his refinery, but the rules and principles of play should not be controlled by any individual regardless of their intent and goodwill

Go to your 1000 history, the only way to have Monopoly is by force backed by violence(govt or mafia) not in open market

It's not about Dangote build or not building a refinery. It's about him wanting ownership of the whole industrial complex. He can have ten Trillion barrels a day, no problem. But the oil industry should be the Definitive when it comes to crude oil and not him creating and enacting laws

Na business be charity? You are acting as if Dangote hasn't made BILLIONS by exploiting the South with his so-called "investments". Nigerians pay the highest cement prices in the world because of Dangote. He has not made life easier for anyone except himself and his cronies.
