Don’t you dudes have enough with the juvenile semantics...
It was VERY VISIBLE to me, because I came across it when I was not even living in Nigeria.

Let’s quit chasing childish and churlish semantic shadows...
When a government functionary expresses public support for a project, that’s currency.
>

Pls read d question again:

what was d "very visible government support" the hospital received?

This hospital took awhile before completion. It has been in construction since fashola regime or before sef. Lest no one should give Sanwo Olu the credit.
i give you the credit

No, it’s not. They are a multinational healthcare group...
They will use specialists and even Nigerian repats from across the globe.

Btw, do generators in Nigeria work any differently from generators elsewhere?
Not sure why you think running generators is unreliable. All electricity is generated by some form of generator.

Okay. I hear you.

Every government should be happy to attract PRIVATE investment...
That’s how you GROW the local economy, create jobs and get revenues to provide public services.

Many Nigerians just don’t get it....
They’re too busy fighting over a SHARE of oil money generated by mostly foreigners. SMH.

i never said that the government was sad

I wonder if you know that hospital was constructed by a private entity and that it has nothing to do with Fashola or pre-Fashola administration. You just sit down in one corner in ALAIGBO and spit thrash with pathetic confidence because you hate to accept that the Lagos state governor is already outperformed whatever your region could put forward under his two years in office.

I knew once you launched into this turgid line of argument that you were well over your head and had little or no idea of the subject matter. So, let me be charitable enough to educate before you further embarrass yourself. National Insurance Contributions (NIC) are not purely health insurance contributions, but rather cover a range of benefits including health, pension and other social benefits. Accordingly, as I said at the beginning of this line of discourse, the NHS is mainly funded by general taxation and NIC contributions.

Learning is life-long, and I am always happy to help educate folks whenever I can. #Take Responsibility grin

I don't understand why you have to go on with the argument when the person behind the moniker you're contending with has programmed his mindset to oppose anything Lagos state does. He has no good control over the course of the argument but he was/is hellbent on finding faults. Most of them Ipobians/Easterners are like that. They throw themselves into an argument they don't understand and drag you about for a mudfight.
I won't be surprised if he or someone else come to his defense to proclaim that you celebrate mediocrity because you're yet to travel.
They pretend as if they like Lagos than the aboriginals when we all know they want is its destruction hence the pain and wail whenever there's one other development in the state.
Check how they celebrate common multi-level Innoson car showroom, calling it world class, until someone cured their madness with the picture of the same facility that innoson must've copied from Lagos. That essentially killed their pathetic vibe that day.
If you check the thread about the hospital constructed by a businessman in Anambra village. You'll understand their inferiority complex as they measure dick with LASG with emphasis on a certain elevator it has as if elevator is an essential facility a medical center must possess before being considered perfect/standard. One even raised the same glorification in another thread until a particular moniker cured him of his madness by showing him health facility in Ibadan built decades ago with elevator facility in it. Just ignore him, he's pained.
