The election was not between Akpabio and Ekpeyoung but Akbabio and the Akwa-Ibomites, in general. He was punished for his betrayal and trying to play God in Akwa-Ibom state. Just like what transpired in the last Edo state gubernatorial election. The prof was caught red handed manipulating figures in favour of APC by the order of Akpabio, who was present at the venue with his security aids. The REC Mr. Mike Igina was informed about the situation, he flew to the venue with Akwa-Ibom state Police commissioner. They took the man, all the LG returning officers and party agents to Uyo, from there some irregular results were cancelled and the prof was handed over to the police by Akwa-Ibom REC Mike Igina, for prosecution. It may interest you to know that the same result cancelled by REC Mike Igina, which are mostly from Akpabio LGA were upheld in court and the court order for rerun. If he so much believes in himself to have scored those bogus figures he claimed to have won, that were cancelled, why did he opted out for the rerun?

What is concise about his opened lies. Take your time to read what transpired during the election, how the man evil deeds was aborted halfway, how he landed in police net and finally in prison. Nigerians indeed have short memories and lack the spirit of research.

Go back to old posts on that election in2019,you will still see me....akpabio only won one lga and lost in all other lgas through rigging.read his statement carefully

Now the professor has been left to his shadow, quite unfortunate how our scholars rig for these criminal elements both in APC and PDP.
